I’m sure his days as an Aggie yell leader may provide some gold.

I didn’t think we could do worse than him. And then there was Abbott...

there might as well be some silver lining to his existence

I can’t handle is stupid face; he needs to close his mouth.

Fair.

It seems like the cat was the only one who got out of this better than when it started.

Yeah, me too. I usually just don’t do it and wait. I go there once a week but early enough that there’s usually not a problem. I love dive bars but the bathroom sketchiness that comes with them is a bummer.

the mens room at my fave dive has no door

NOOOOOOO! Wait. You’re the same poster from above. Was this the Longbranch? I hated to pee there, too.

You are talking about the Hole in the Wall in Austin, aren’t you?

At least they weren’t facing each other. That would be very embarrassing.

That’s how you know it’s a true dive.

I have many, many relatives who live “down the bayou”. You try and mention any of this being the fault of oil and gas and you get called a fucking hippy. Then they vote straight ticlet Republican.

Yeah, there’s not a lot to be done about those. I grew up in the middle of a damn desert (landlocked, high elevation) and a little village north of us had a 6 foot deep flood out of nowhere. Its just not possible to plan for every contingency

It’s not just the 30 inches of rain. It’s 30 inches in a very short time. A day or so? No place can absorb that. I read that an inland tropical storm formed. That would of course be less likely up north but that’s no reason not to live in Louis.

Case in point—-this is very similar to what happened where I live in 2010. Where is that? NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE. Not coastal. Not prone to flooding. And yet . . .

The thing is that a daily show of any variety has to do a lot to remain vital. The late night network shows are regularly panned but they’ve got decades of built in audience who will watch no matter how awful it is.

....shouldn’t he just leave?
