Easy answer: GM should design and produce better looking, higher quality parts for a car that wants to eat at the big kids table. The margins exist. It’s a matter of desire and dedication to being better, or in this case, the lack thereof.

This is my thought as well. Someone who can afford a $160k track day monster (and associated cost of operetion) can probably also afford $190k for the equivalent Porsche. Chevy should just spend the extra $10 grand to upgrade the interior to compete with its segment competitors...because I don’t think the people…
One could argue that the Zr1 is nowhere near the same class of car as that base 911 because of its interior as well. But that’s not the point.
Precisely. One of my friends moved to a new city a few years ago. When we visited him he was bragging about all the things you can do where he lives. His wife then cuts in to let us know that he has never done a single one of those things and still does the exact same things outside of work that he did before they…
“The Saturn V was built by the lowest bidders and it still got us to the moon and back,”
“Jaguar F-Type interiors are made of the same cheap “soft plastics” and chintzy touches here and there that no one ever talks about”
I think what he is saying is that the interior of this $140k ‘vette isn’t much better than a $60k ‘vette. You would think an additional 133% of cash over a base car would get you a much nicer interior. If you bought a $20k car you would expect a $46.6k car would have a much nicer interior, no?
I owned a track biased C5 and agree with you: for that much money, I want to feel like I’m sitting in a 6 figure car. Also, I am incredibly surprised it does not come with a 5 point or cage option (mine had both).
The world needs magic and wonder now more than ever
erm...Santa isn’t particularly Christian. I’m a full-on atheist and I’m still a) celebrating christmas because it’s an awesome holiday and b) telling my son about Santa because Santa is a beautiful myth.
You lost me when you complained about people being abandoned by the media and universities. I’m not sure how a university is expected to keep Middle American prosperity afloat. Are you suggesting that there are no conservatives in our colleges and universities? Because that’s absurd. Hell, college educated white people…
Wall Street and Silicon Valley, maybe. You could even add the Democratic party to that list for embracing neoliberal economic ideas. But I don’t think you can blame the media or universities for being places that put up with lies and close-minded thinking.
Sushi means it has a specific kind of seasoned rice. Many kinds of sushi do not have raw meat.
One of the telecom companies must have taught the owner what “unlimited” means
This guy got a raw deal. He was catfished. They lured him in with one deal, but the manager floundered. He should have smelt it coming. I think he should try again when that manager isn’t there, just for the.....halibut.
“...reports indicate he is on a special diet that involves fasting for 12 hours a day...”
Sorry.... I meant the Successful neckbeards.
Come now... If we can’t trust the leadership at VW, who can we trust?
Funny, I thought it was exactly the other way around.
