I’ll concede that you could push it to the bare minimum. I think the problem is that it sits uncomfortably in the middle instead of either going no holds barred world class interior, or no holds barred stripped and caged track interior.

I agree, the inherent issues should have already been addressed down stream. The base model Vette shouldn’t share switches with a Malibu. All Vettes should be on a higher plane from jump street. You are right. A bit of refinement and it would BE a world class car, not merely one that is FASTER than world class cars.

I used to think this when I was a young adult before having kids. Then two things happen. One, you lie to your kids all the time - and that’s not always a bad thing. Two. Why take the joy out of it and have your kid be the one that ruins it for all the other kids? We all survived it. Let them have it.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

You may have tried to tell a joke, but the audience stole your punchline.

Here is what I don’t get. Years before Tesla came around, the electric vehicle crowd was pushing that 30-60 miles of range is sufficient for 95% of drivers. I believe this is true 95% is the time as we mostly are cogs in the daily grind. This, smaller standardized battery packs could be used. But lately, the battery

Fair point.

Yeah. Basing your business model on low wage high turnover jobs that nobody really wants and few can tolerate is not the way to go. We have to vote with our wallets. Pony up a few extra bucks for the made in America item. Shop ethical establishments. It won’t change overnight just because of you, but it will change

You are right. I can make a better sandwich at home with what I keep in the fridge. A good sandwich is supposed to be satisfying, not just passable. It’s like a sad buffet where you don’t get to make the sandwich as good as it could be - which is mediocre. But hey, we have several mediocre breads to choose from, but

Like many American households, my wife drives the nicer car. She drives an E class Benz. My car was a 2013, and it was time for me to get a new one. I love German cars, but wanted an American build. I had always liked the new Cadillac styling. Though I was finding it a bit too aggressive and long in the tooth. I test

That is a great point.

It’s the car version of a Harley!

I think that is why they say:

An American Eagle, of course.

Same blue color, too.

That last one is tricky. It’s like an old Nissan Stanza or Mazda protege - but I can’t put my finger on it. But in my head,I see it as a two tone car a friend of mine had - an old Audi out some sort...ugh! It’s killing me!

One of my most memorable cars from my younger days was my blue ‘91 caddy Seville with blue leather interior. That thing seemed so smooth and powerful at the time. I still remember the cheesy audio cassette it came with to show off the stereo. The song I remember: “Living the Seville Life.” Classic.

I will say,I do like Mercedes seats. My old E class was on the firm side, but fit like a glove and stayed comfortable for hours - throughout the years. Too plush and I feel too floaty and hot. I must say, though, I am truly impressed by several American badges these days. I was so impressed with what Buick is doing,

High end Volvos can have a plush interior. I think the puffy leather surrounding you might be a part of their safety strategy.

I know, right? They always put these terrible swirling swooshy line decals on the sides to try to give the facet that it is a square ass box on a truck. Notice, they all have silly animal (cat) names, too?
