Luxurious fourth lug bolt!

Neat.

I hope it’s made in three to five different countries like the original.

Seems like a delightful amount of visibility out of that greenhouse, at least for a supercar. Overhead shot is outstanding

What a dumb headline.

Audi TT with nostrils and a backwards baseball cap.

Nice Nissan, did you move to the US from Japan?

I don’t know, I’d pick the Eta engine over its contemporary M10 any day. The M20B27 is a wonderful 300k mile workhorse with a beautiful torque curve from the bottom to a top that it reaches about 2000 rpm early.

Yeah, I meant in rallying in general. I don’t think they ever saw a podium in WRC.

Yeah! The T-Body was everywhere. Great info too. The US just didn’t get good versions of any car in the 1970s. Better off that the Isuzu brand wasn’t tainted by the “Buick Opel”.

It always make me smile when I see one fly by in the vintage rally videos. It also makes me sad because I used a own a ‘76 coupe.

Not that it really matters, but the “Buick Opels” offered stateside in the mid-1970s were actually abysmal Isuzu Geminis.

Tom’s a bit of a legend!

V4! It’s totally capable in modern traffic, just very easily blown about. I’ve driven a two-stroke and it’s a completely different beast, I will take one across the country some day. Nightmare difficulty!!

Haha, oh God. *cries*

There’s nothing that tests grip strength quite like driving a tiny old car at highway speeds. You do not relax on the highway. It is a butt-clenching death-defying act that requires 110% of your attention and driving abilities.

Slightly more attractive than a 1978 King Cobra.

Probably because there’s someone creeping up on her. If you look carefully, there is a pair of sneakers sitting next to the driver’s side rear tire. Haunting stuff.

I’m with Jason. Find the best average you can between cheap and reliable. Spend a little money on having fun while figuring out what you like (for your very important next car) and save while you drive a fun piece of crap. Best thing one can learn in this situation is have patience.

It doesn’t need to be crammed in, fits like a glove every time.
