Gary Fisher's Lolling Tongue

I’m enjoying the hell out of it via BC on PS5 and haven’t had any issues, but man, they really effed up on this release. Last gen versions should have been canceled or the game pushed back again considerably. This is going to take a while to fix, and to earn gamers’ trust again, if ever.

That's a long list of mostly heavy-ass dramas that I do not have the capacity for right now. Maybe in another year.

Eh, I’m okay with that. I had a decent sized Star Wars collection at the time, with a lot of it focused on Leia, so I picked those up on clearance. I slimmed most of it down last year and those went too.

As a 42 year old male fan, I loved Forces of Destiny. I may have even bought a couple of the dolls. *shrug*

Fantastic pics this week, Krispy, and I'm a massive Muppets fan, so this gets an extra thumbs up. 👍

I would love to hear some true tales from the production of that train wreck, and the somewhat-salvaged Solo. I hate that Disney keeps such a tight lid on their Star Wars troubles instead if owning them.

Man, does that guy ever have some real life demons to slay.

I have zero doubt about that, and also that he was the stand-in for the average male fan. I identified with his awkwardness and humor in my late teens/early 20's as a fan, but now I look back and I'm embarrassed I ever fell for the schtick.

I still really like them, but my opinion on Xander has really flipped since I was young. What a gross asshole that character was.

WB screwed the pooch on the creatives side of this deal BUT I am also coming out of this pandemic liking Nolan a whole lot less than I used to.

Yeah, that line made me feel like I'm pushing 90. Kids...

Yep! You can actually see how it works in Attack of the Clones.

I'm a true sucker for fairy tale stuff, and I've liked Isla Fisher in the past, so I'll totally be checking this out.

That’s cool. I do really like the look and feel of the film, I just find it all kind of boring. I think it would be kind of amazing to see a version with Lynch completely off the leash. Just tell him "Space, spice, sand, worms, there's your base, go nuts."

I personally love Mulholland Drive, but it’s truly not for everyone. Eraserhead is a unique piece of art but not a great narrative. I thought Jack Nance was fascinating to watch. Nobody really likes Dune, including Lynch, but I think it may have turned out better if he had been given more freedom. Who knows with that

I’m in. Sign me up. I don’t care what it is, I’m going along. Even when I don’t love Lynch — and I usually do — it’s almost guaranteed to still be an interesting watch.

I saw that and made some kind of weird audible happy noise.

I feel like this is one we'll actually see play out on The Mandalorian, while Ahsoka's search for Thrawn will happen elsewhere.

It’s, as he has repeatedly called it, a quest. This is how quests have worked since Gilgamesh. Go to a place, gain some knowledge during an adventure, and move to the next place.

For what it’s worth, my wife has only seen the movies, and only liked a few, while I'm a massive nerd about it. We watch The Mandalorian together every Friday night and both enjoy the hell out of it. (Meanwhile my 11 year old, who's seen all movies and series has peaced out because various YouTubers told him Star Wars
