I still really like them, but my opinion on Xander has really flipped since I was young. What a gross asshole that character was.

To be fair, their ranks have been decimated and a lot of peons from the Rim probably got promotions. But it really started with RotJ, where quite a few Imperials were American, or at least dubbed that way.
That was a great example of something that works fine on it's own but gives us nerds something extra.
Yes, we all remember the crowds of only very young children that lined up for blocks multiple times over in 1977. Wait, you mean people of all ages have enjoyed Star Wars for decades?! BUT MY WORLD VIEW!
I’m actually running through this for the first time on Disney+. I don’t love the character designs for Pete or MJ, or the bulky-ass Spidey, but the show is pretty solid. Spectacular remains the best animated series, but this is a good runner-up.
WB screwed the pooch on the creatives side of this deal BUT I am also coming out of this pandemic liking Nolan a whole lot less than I used to.
Yeah, that line made me feel like I'm pushing 90. Kids...
Yep! You can actually see how it works in Attack of the Clones.
I'm a true sucker for fairy tale stuff, and I've liked Isla Fisher in the past, so I'll totally be checking this out.
Mediocre!
Enfys Nest was one of the most intriguing, and instantly popular, characters to come from the new slate of movies. Plus Erin seems a lovely person. So I'm excited for this.
That’s cool. I do really like the look and feel of the film, I just find it all kind of boring. I think it would be kind of amazing to see a version with Lynch completely off the leash. Just tell him "Space, spice, sand, worms, there's your base, go nuts."
I personally love Mulholland Drive, but it’s truly not for everyone. Eraserhead is a unique piece of art but not a great narrative. I thought Jack Nance was fascinating to watch. Nobody really likes Dune, including Lynch, but I think it may have turned out better if he had been given more freedom. Who knows with that…
I’m in. Sign me up. I don’t care what it is, I’m going along. Even when I don’t love Lynch — and I usually do — it’s almost guaranteed to still be an interesting watch.
I saw that and made some kind of weird audible happy noise.
I feel like this is one we'll actually see play out on The Mandalorian, while Ahsoka's search for Thrawn will happen elsewhere.
It’s, as he has repeatedly called it, a quest. This is how quests have worked since Gilgamesh. Go to a place, gain some knowledge during an adventure, and move to the next place.
For what it’s worth, my wife has only seen the movies, and only liked a few, while I'm a massive nerd about it. We watch The Mandalorian together every Friday night and both enjoy the hell out of it. (Meanwhile my 11 year old, who's seen all movies and series has peaced out because various YouTubers told him Star Wars…
I thought the whole point was to let Grogu somewhat choose for himself.
This is such a complete clusterfuck, it has to be by design. They knew this was the endgame. Why, I have no idea. To get their names out there? I couldn't tell you, but there is no way that at any point these fucks thought this would turn out any other way.
