“Rights for me, but not for thee”.

They won’t, until it impacts them personally. And even then, it’s iffy, because they have become a right wing authoritarian identity cult. Which is why the GOP targets certain demographics for increasingly fanatical support. Having grown up with right wing evangelicals, I can tell you they are really good at

I wrote out a whole rant about the history of this kind of stuff in America, and how the far right will not stop until they are stopped in every direction, including at the ballot box repeatedly over the course of decades so that the federal judiciary currently overrun with far right lifetime appointees can be

“Insecure narcissist buys a criticism factory” will forever be the best summation of Musk’s Twitter acquisition.

“...he actually thinks ... he’s the smartest man in every room he’s in.”

Doubling down and continuing to make a fool of themselves...that pretty much seems to be the right wing pattern.

He has no endgame. He’s been so sheltered from reality for his entire life that he doesn’t consider anything as having long term consequences (because what ever has?) so every decision in life is FOR THE LULZ.

But don’t you understand, if they laugh hard enough then daddy Elon will notice them and...

Is his end game to get sued by a bunch of companies for defamation? Because taking away a companies account and allowing someone else to potentially impersonate them on your platform sounds looks a good way to do so.

I’m more astonished that he didn’t say National Penis Radio, which is way more in keeping with his usual level of thought.  He must be really slipping.

Musk apparently replied with “National Pumpkin Radio” along with a fire emoji and a laughing emoji.

Elongated Muskrat thinks NPR cares. LOL

I knew MySpace Tom. MySpace Tom was a friend of mine.

Myspace Tom made a half billion dollars when he sold Myspace to News Corp, peaced out before the market crashed, and doesn’t have to work a day for the rest of his life.

I’d put scare quotes around “jobs” when it comes to Musk.

He then reminded NPR that is was no longer labelled “state-affiliated media” and asked what the “beef” was.

I like the fact that he asks “What’s the beef?” because he took off the offensive label from NPRs description; not even with a hint of understanding that a mercurial dictatorial chair is the real problem.

At this point I don’t understand why any companies or media outlets are remaining on Twitter at all. It’s basically become 4Chan but without the occasionally good post.

Remember, this is how the CEO of 3 huge companies and father of 10 spends his time...

So.... can we please have Genndy Tartakovsky back for Visions Volume 3?
