The problem with Flashpoint being first is that you have ZERO emotional connection with the Flash, his family, or anyone. Because you havent spent any time with them (even the Flash, who’s biggest role for most people was in a Terrible Justice League movie from SIX years ago).

Does it really baffle you though? Everything DC did before James Gunn seems to be so confusingly rushed. Shoving Wonder Woman in the Batman V Superman story that also included the Doomsday storyline in Superman’s SECOND appearence. The whole universe felt like the fast forward button was stuck.

Making the Flash’s VERY first movie Flashpoint absolutely baffles me.
