I've only ever heard of Iron Chef because of this video featuring Mark Dacascos. I'd love to see some full episodes if they're any bit as zany as this.

Same, no matter what I played in the first game, I always tended to gravitate towards gunslinging and sniping. Guess I'll be going that path again :)
My favourite Naruto game is still Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4 for the GC. After that it kind of started suffering from the DBZ syndrome where everything was super overpowered because it had to be more epic than anything before it.
Guilt, or shame?
The fact the story missions can be hard sometimes is really nice. I'm glad there's a good challenge to be found amid the otherwise very comfortable game mechanics.
Just used the trading post, and it's plenty fast. Still caught a bug which made me purchase 1 vial of thin blood for the price of 19 of them (even though the UI indicated it was 19), but I made a bug report, and about 15min later my zone reloaded and I had the money back. I assume ANet had something to do with that,…
Ah yes, forgot about Annie!
Sounds like a simpler Armadillo Run. Rewards experimentation with combinations of physical contraptions, and it's basically a two-sequence affair. Build something, watch it go. Rince, repeat.
For me the commentary actually already covers that. The commentary from LoL allowed me to basically know enough about the game and certain heroes to start playing them right off the bat.
"It's a strategy game, but you only control one character."
It's great but the whole popular hijack of it is kind of annoying. A lot of the intentional irony gets lost in the process and it's borderline painful how people employ it sometimes.
I don't see why anybody would expect their money back. That money will be spent trying to get the Ouya to be a successful product. If that fails, that money is spent. To expect them to keep some sort of fail-safe to be able to reimburse kickstarter backers would just needlessly cripple the entire project.
NOW YOU'RE KNITTING WITH PORTALS!
It can work, but that also really depends on the type of advertisement going on. It really needs to be advertisement adjusted pretty heavily towards the audience, both in locality as well as content. But even then, with games being a "must go on" type of thing, intermittent ads (of any kind) to me just promote taking…
You make some good points.
It becomes an excuse when it is employed in a certain fashion though, which is what I think people should be mindful of doing.
Very true. I'm not telling people how to react to something, but there's a different between just knowing why you are the way you are, and using that knowledge to prevent yourself from moving on. The problem I guess is that's not rational. Not being able to move on or put something behind you is largely an emotional…
I don't see why being bullied is really a valid excuse. I was bullied a lot as a kid, and as a result I never really befriended any of my peers, and I still hardly do. That's no reason to be a dick to people. I'm probably nicer for it because I know the shit it causes people to go through. That, and I've learned to…
Sums up exactly why this is a pointless venture. But I definitely don't mind since the advertisers are the ones getting burned.
