If users don't migrate to windows 8, doesn't mean they'll look elsewhere by any measure. Windows 7 is a solid OS, and I still know people that haven't even moved beyond Windows XP because of a lack of need to do so. OS migration is slow, at best. Migrating to another platform altogether? Even slower would be my guess.

Developers maybe, but first you need to get the ideas drafted and sent to management, and the budget people need to go over the whole thing to approve it, and THEN you make an official statement.

That game looks really interesting btw. I just tried the demo and the mechanics are awesome. The controls are sometimes a bit ambiguous, but no biggie since you can undo every step anyway. Wonder how this plays on iOS.

The original Soul Reaver is one of my all time favourite games. I replayed it a few years back, once I got it to run on Vista, lol.

Sounds bad :/

I'm sure if demand is high enough they might consider it, if they haven't already.

Maybe they base this info on previous experience of languages selected in their games on various platforms, which for audio definitely saves a lot size-wise.

Ah, now I get what you're getting at. Well, if it just upscales then there isn't really much point to the higher resolution. Though, if the engine does the scaling natively, then it does look a lot better than when the iPad does it after-the-fact itself.

That's just because you're looking at both of those images at the same (likely 72?) dots per inch (DPI)

lolz, not sure if serious or actually not getting my sarcasm.

same...

Eventually it's always redundant, but it's not the only outflow mechanism a game should employ.

Entertaining it might not be, but to some games it is an integral part of the economy.

I've played a few games so far, and I'll admit it's good multiplayer, but the only reason I play it is for the readiness rating. Once that's done, I'll stop playing it, and I probably would never have played it if it wasn't for the rating.

Yeh, and I only use a single weapon (assault rifle), so my recharge is like +80%.

I'm in the 18% and 5% catagories xD Female Sentinel.

I did get myself a 27 inch LCD monitor not too long ago. Real step up from my previous 5 year old 19 inch TFT. I would be very interested to get myself a 120Hz monitor though, just so I can use VSync up to 120FPS, but my current graphics setup doesn't really allow me to use that.

I tried playing it on my 15" 2011 Macbook Pro, and it runs pretty good at its native 1280x800. The laptop does burn right through your lap though... :P

Bravo!
