As other people pointed out in other posts, having two 590's in SLI is most useful with very high resolutions. 1920x1080 will indeed suffice with a 580 or 590, depending on the game. I know my HD6970 only managed about 25 at that resolution with Crysis 2.

The Crysis 2 version he played is actually heavily upgraded to support DX11 features, and is currently a very heavy game to run. So it serves as a great benchmark. The Witcher 2's Ubersampling would have been a nice addition though.

Thanks! Every sale counts ;)

Really excited to see our iOS game Munch Time going live in the coming 24 hours. First time we've ever released an indie title, so fingers crossed it does well!

I actually got into the beta for this game last week, but haven't had any time at all to play any games for the last two, so didn't get around to it yet :(

That cracked me up. I sure hope claptraps will be doing that in the game, and singing dubstep, that would be utterly hilarious.

Obligatory.

I'd rather drop the 3D and keep the 120Hz screens. Vertical Synchronization at 120FPS = win.

Funny, but incomplete IMO. I actually think Gamification as a trend has only emerged because of the prevalence of social networks.

I'm going off of the original introduction video here, so forgive me (or not, if you prefer) for not knowing the intricate details of the actual release. Perhaps I should move into "hand-to-hand combat that very much resembled forms of Kung Fu I have seen before".

That seems very unlikely. Having played both, however, I can attest that the original Witcher is far less "playable" or forgiving than The Witcher 2. I tried playing it again before 2 came out, but found myself too encumbered, and I sufficed with reading up on the lore before hitting 2.

Nope. :)

Though, you CAN do that. You can get those programs to run the old dos games, because people can write programs that will slow down your CPU. And you know, digital distribution? Not to mention the practice of certain developers to release patches that remove DRM (Prey, Quake, UT)

Posted it up top.

Here's the message just before the XBox logo. #tips

Inorite! I always LOVE casemods that look like little girls.

This is childs play.

And a very good point indeed.

Very valid indeed, and I don't suggest it should. But not giving somebody money, and forcing somebody into a situation where other things are not possible are not the same either.

Consider that same argument for a mass-market audience, and it becomes "What will entertain everybody?" My field of interest is when "more customers" starts to conflict with the quality of the product.
