There were a bunch of signs at Denver International saying it’s still illegal to possess them in airports and on flights in the US, so I would advise caution on this one for those in the states.

One of the best travel tips I got was to hang my pants by the cuffs when I unpack. The weight of the waist is usually enough to get out any packing wrinkles overnight.
Law schools are kind of weird about transfers - if you transfer for 3L, you still end up getting a degree from your original school and are just considered a visiting scholar or something like that. I think it’s because the hard work of law school is pretty much over after 2L and to prevent people from spending two…
They’re not kidding - the zoo is amazing and since it’s free, you don’t feel bad if you can only make it for a couple of hours. The docents are friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely worth the trek.
Great point! That’s why I am a big fan of the brown liquor and soda combination when flying. Soda water is hydrating and doesn’t have all the other crap in it.
My Gerber Paraframe has been my daily carry knife for years and I love it.

Do you hang your hat in Tennessee?
This is a manifestly dishonest comment, because you can easily review the literally dozens and dozens of times that Republicans have voted to repeal or otherwise undermine the Affordable Care Act, and the current lawsuits they support specifically aimed at removing protections for pre-existing conditions. The fact…
...on the bullshit basis of the selection coming from a lame-duck president...
That was my problem too - I used astringents and exfoliating scrubs and then rubbed benzoyl peroxide spot treatments all over my face, instead of using it as a spot treatment. The result was I irritated my skin and compounded the problem severely. As my dermatologist at the time pointed out, your skin doesn’t know if…
I flew Southwest from FLL to BWI with maybe a half dozen other passengers once for their last flight of the day. It was amazing - they comped everyone drinks and we all took our own row to stretch out and catch a nice nap.
Bonus points: whenever I’ve flown first class, they always include drinks for free. Keep the buzz going all the way to your destination.*
*Don’t drink and drive.
And apparently we’re going to steal your shoes too, so everyone within 30 feet has to smell your unshowered, stocking feet after they’ve been marinating over god-knows-how-many hours of travel.
So many state legislative seats go uncontested - it’s truly appalling. Run for office. It’s usually not too hard to get on the ballot, and even in horribly gerrymandered districts, worst case scenario, you forced your state rep. to spend some money on the district that could have gone to more competitive races.
I wasn’t sure how this worked the last time I was at the Kennedy Center, and ended up hitting the bathroom and then the bar for round two. Standing at the end of the line, anxiously listening to the warning chimes going off, silently cursing the people in front of me for not already having their minds made up and…
Is— is ham salad an unpopular option? I mean, I think putting relish in it is a crime, but few things warm my PA Dutchy soul quite like a ham salad sandwich on a potato roll (or a delicious whoopie pie!).
They’re so... salty.
Oh, I agree with a lot of that. For all our sake, I hope people don’t get lazy like we did in 2010. If people hadn’t sat out 2010 and thought, “meh, Obama’s got this, I did my job,” we would be in a pretty different world. I hope this was the wake-up call everyone needed and we see a blue tidal wave that washes out…
While enjoying the benefit of hindsight, I would rather have seen the Clinton camp ignore Arizona and spend more time shoring up PA, Michigan, and Wisconsin, Trump won due to fewer than 80,000 votes total spread across those three states, the latter of which saw hundreds of thousands of voters disenfranchised by Voter…
The Yield Curve hasn’t been this flat since 2007. Not a good sign.
