I have no idea what I just read and I loved every word of it. Philly is a fucking weird place.
I read the headline as “scrotum” and was sadly disappointed with the article .
I’ve been waiting for someone to do this, but to a much more deserving car.
I’ve been saying this for years... At a randomly predetermined point in the game which is unknown to the players and fans, let a bear loose in the outfield. All baseball problems solved. Attendance will go up. It’ll be exciting. And if a team has some salary cap issues, this might just solve them as well.
No. It counts for nothing. The Bucs are the worst. All that season (and the few before it) showed is how much potential was blown. Everything they do is just wrong. Maybe it goes right for a game or two, but it doesn’t last. It never does. It never will. The whole organization is pathetic. It’s not even sad anymore.…
They could have just made each yard 20% shorter, but that would have required hiring a crack team of mathematicians and the use of NASA’s computers because America hates the metric system.
The weirdest problem with our 1995 Ranger is that despite there being a little something wrong with everything, it still runs great.
Well done, sir. You can take the rest of the week off.
All that rust created crumple zones!
Good for you. I fully support this behavior. I used to have one of those Ampeg V2 heads. Ran my bass through it into a Kustom 3x15 cab. Sweet lord that thing was so fucking loud. At some point I added a Bassman 100 with the 4x12 angled cab. That was the rig of god. It just destroyed everything. I also ran guitars…
The 70-something guy who live around the corner from me (in St. Pete, FL) has a really sweet C7 Z06. I’ve only seen it uncovered and out of the garage TWICE in maybe two or so years. Until he and his friends are out flogging their precious front-engine Corvettes around to the point of actual NEEDING to buy a new car,…
Exactly the same thing, probably grey, too.
We got a rental Focus with one of these transmissions about a year ago. Didn’t get more than a mile or so before turning around and returning it. It was the most unsafe car I’ve ever driven. At one point it slipped in and out of gear and bucked so hard my wife and I though we got rear ended. The rental folks tried to…
Next week there’ll be an Omni on Bring A Trailer selling for $23,000.
They are lovely little cars. Someone had the gall to drive one on public roads in Florida(!) to a Cars & Coffee this past weekend. How dare they drive such a car! It should be stored in a climate-controlled blast-proof vault which the owner enters but once a year to gaze upon their beautiful machine.
The orange is very nice, but... the Nouvella Blue Pearl does it for me. Someone down the street from me has one in that blue and it’s really easy on the eyes.
About a year and half ago, we had a car in the shop for an extended period and got an afflicted Focus as a rental. We drove it less than a mile before turning around and bringing it back. It was downright dangerous to drive. The first time is bucked when shifting was so violent I thought we got rear ended.
