Remember when Klinsman was (supposedly) the problem?
I mean, is there a chance that this film is MEANT to sound dated/sound like 2009? Given that in the world of Zombieland the world literally ended in 2009, I can’t expect the characters to be all woke and evolve new senses of humor, right?
I love the feeling that this is basically a bonus 10-ep season. Maybe not a ton of crossover viewers of these two shows, but one of my favorite runs of TV was the final 6 eps of Felicity, where they thought they were doing a short season and got unexpectedly extended, so they basically did what Arrow is doing here-…
“Date: Unknown (thought it was 1989)
Agreed on the surprises, hopefully. Like, would be cool to get Justin Hartley back as Oliver Queen (or AQUAMAN!) and it’d be nice if they kept that under wraps. But seeing as he played Oliver Queen for five season on TV, it’s arguable that there’s more justification for him being on than Welling.
Was waiting for this as soon as the Eagles lost. Did not disappoint.
I agree 100%. Maybe if this were like a 10-parter, but it’s starting to feel a JUST a little crowded, isn’t it?
I dunno, I love all these casting reveals so far and would love to see more. But will there be any time for any, you know, PLOT? Unless one scene is like future Ollie thumbing through old Justice League yearbooks and basically burning through half these cameos, we’ve already like two dozen regular/recurring cast…
I’m just sad this wasn’t sooner so we could get David Ogden Stiers’ Martian Manhunter!
Can i PLLLEEEEAASE get out of the grays? Not sure how i ended up here since I was ungrayed at the start of the great Kinja-ing. But I HAVE SOME STUFF TO SAY!
I think Dragon’s persistence was out of necessity after Michael Emerson opted out as the big bad of season 6. So we got an elevated and then extra helping of Diaz.
If they ever make a better season of comic book/superhero tv than S2 of Arrow, it should win a goddam Emmy. Just the perfect season of TV.

Also nice bookends to the season, starting and finishing with Kendall being ushered into a news conference/interview to to the company/family line.
Am I the only one disappointed at how little Stewy we got this season? He is SUCH a smarmy prick, but that guy is SO GOOD at being a smarmy prick. I wish I could be that good at anything. If I knew someone like that in real life I would be so angry all the time, because I knew that guy would not only always win, but…
So are you saying Logan was basically goading Ken into turning on him? Or that Logan and Ken planned the whole thing together? The former make a lot of sense given that whole “you’re not a killer”line.
I think in a weird way he was mostly relieved that that was their reaction. He felt feelings for a sec, and now he can go back to not feeling them, or so he thought.
I think you’re both right in a way. I don’t think Logan and Kendall planned it this way, but I’m not entirely sure Kendall acted 100% out of malice, and I don’t think Logan was completely blindsided or completely disappointed that Kendall turned. I think Logan really was thinking about stepping aside, and with…
They play Tom off as buffoonish comic relief a lot, but in key moments they’ve resisted the temptation to turn him into someone truly incompetent. In reality, they’ve made him rather astute. A corn-fed midwestern square, sure, but one with high ambition who understands how to climb the corporate ladder, and who can…
“...killer direction by Mark Mylod. Everything clicked, and so incredibly sharp.”
