I'm fairly sure he has enough minotaur blood to be immune to Maze.

I found no love in the hollowed-out belly of a dead elk. Just warmth, and quiet. But then the questions: "Hey, why are you in the hollowed-out belly of a dead elk? Are you in there because of love?" And always, "You know if you're homeless, man, you cannot sleep there."
Burt sang "There's a Skeeter on my Peter" around the campfire while coughing. Someone sang that on "My Name is Earl" once, and my wife says they sang it on "Yes Dear" too. Must be Greg Garcia's favorite song.
Crystal Stilts? I thought there was a new album by Crystal Shit!
Bourbon is a type of whiskey. Scotch is a type of whiskey. Rye is a type of whiskey. Whiskey is a spirit distilled from grain. Anything distilled from grain is whiskey, whether that grain is rye, barley, wheat, or corn. You can argue over the subtypes and the spelling, but they're all whiskey.
Sophia has an accent. Rafi doesn't, and he looks more Middle Eastern than Hispanic. It's really hard to believe they're siblings.
I read "The Wee Free Men" and wasn't impressed. It felt a little juvenile. Then again, I loved "Nation", and I liked the Johnny and Truckers/Diggers/Wings series. Maybe I'll check out the other Tiffany Aching books.

Is anyone else getting tired of Ankh-Morpork? I feel like the variety of Discworld plots and settings has faded over time. They're all set in AM, in a city that progressively looks more like modern Earth. It's been 10 years since a book was about the Witches or Death, and only the weak Monstrous Regiment was set…
I still play Master of Orion 2. But not Master of Orion 3, because that was terrible.
My family quoted this for years. It's the only thing I remember about the movie.
Exactly! He left at the end of last season, then he was back with no explanation!
Also because Steve Jobs used to look like Ashton Kutcher: http://www.slate.com/conten…
Disappointing news, but not surprising. The pilot was surprisingly decent. The second episode was terrible. I was hoping for a tiebreaker this week.
To me, the best part of Undeclared was the supporting cast, and they were introduced gradually. The pilot was almost all about Steven. It wasn't a bad episode, but it doesn't belong on a list of great pilots.
Everything's great when Jack is around, but he disappears frequently. Then you're stuck with detailed descriptions of Baroque science and politics, usually focused on Daniel. Jack barely even appears in the 3rd book! I like Eliza's plot (though it's frustrating that large portions of her life are only described in…
When Jess does the chicken dance, she pecks instead of clapping. It's more realistic, because CHICKENS DON'T CLAP!
According to the preview, next week's episode is about an amnesia virus. That's the 3rd episode. Given all of the plot possibilities of a tiny human settlement surrounded by hostile dinosaurs, the best they could think of is an amnesia virus!
But why didn't the villain send down the giant monster to begin with? The giant could have crushed the whole school before the Power Rangers even put on their costumes!
Especially since Marshall's old boss was Bob Odenkirk, who's approximately as awesome as Dave Foley.
