There are frequent quests that give you thousands of dollars.  I built my 3rd workshop after getting $25K as a quest reward.  The bigger problem is that the later employees are far lower level than your first 2, so they work more slowly and can't contribute as much.

Maya Rudolph makes me yearn for the subtle, restrained comic stylings of Kristen Wiig.

They show up in the bottom of the 2011 listings.

I also agree.  The characters are the most frustrating part.  Each one has different stats, but that information isn't in the game.  You have to read a walkthrough to find out what each bike is good at, and that some of the bikes are just useless.

The standup is usually the only funny part of the show.

It was totally a Simpsons episode. The cutaways to parodies of modern tween shows, and lame variants of Hannah Montana and Dora the Explorer, are Simpsons jokes. The first few acts could have been performed with Marge or Lisa instead of Leela without changing anything. It wasn't a terrible episode, but it was

O'Grady
Did anyone watch "O'Grady" on The N? Loren Bouchard wasn't involved in it, but it had Jon Benjamin and some other Home Movies cast. It also had guest spots by Conan O'Brien, Will Arnett, David Cross, etc. Good show, especially for something on The N, but I never hear anyone mention it.

My thoughts exactly, zeppomarxist. This used to be a show about people who were forced to tolerate each other because they worked together. Now they're a big bunch of happy friends, who always go everywhere in a group and love to sing, dance, and now act together. There's no conflict anymore.

I was drinking Lagavulin during that scene. It was very exciting.

You can get decent wine in a box, but that wasn't it. That looked more like a Franzia box.

Slipping Soft Rock into the set list
This Lifter Puller song is probably named after a quote from the episode:

It may have been the same voice. David Herman was the counselor, and he was also on KOTH.

It was actually "An F Train to Brooklyn", which doesn't seem to be a real drink. And Ryan doesn't know how to make it either.

Soul Music by Terry Pratchett. Rock music comes to a humorous fantasy world. It's not the best in the Discworld series, but it's pretty good, and it features an electric guitar that created the universe.

Short Story
I read a short story with the same kind of time travel as this episode. A man invents a time machine that only goes forward. He keeps going forward, encountering different Earths, until the universe ends. Then it wraps around as he watches the Big Bang and evolution of life on Earth, and he lands just a

The American Kitchen Nightmares is terrible. It's all about flash and drama; food is barely mentioned. The owner and Gordon yell at each other. The owner and his wife cry when they talk about how they don't want to lose their business. Gordon revamps the restaurant and everyone cheers, and might cry again. And to

I'm thinking of breaking out the Mr. Show DVDs tonight. But my Run Ronnie Run DVD may remain forever unwatched.

Holly's tattoo was "Jesus lived and died for all your sins". You might be mixing it up with "Jesus died for somebody's sins but not mine", from Patti Smith's version of "Gloria".

Glee went to the mall…today!

Neytiri - "Lifehouse" is the name of a Pete Townshend rock opera. It was supposed to come out after Tommy, but instead he scrapped it and recycled pieces of it for "Who's Next".
