There’s more to fixing something than just throwing parts at it. I recently had to replace a display screen on an instrument only to find that the manufacturer had changed the voltage threshold on one of the logic pins between revisions without putting it in the revision notes. What should have been a simple part-out

BUT I LIKE SITTING HIGH UP IT MAKES ME FEEL SAFER

The Hunger Games: Catching Error
-May the odds be ever in your bank account.

This is a bad taek.

I will pour one out tonight

If you abuse them properly, ALL engines go out with a bang.

If any rich person would like to hear my new idea for a 12 car demolition derby to crown the true “final V12,” please comment here.

You’ve got to understand that COTA suffers under severe heat and semi-arid conditions. That’s absolute hell on pavement. Plus, F1 “bumpy” would be glass-smooth pavement for most any other four-wheeled vehicle with a suspension designed to take pavement bumps rather than absolute cornering.

The bumps are a result of the soil type, not of contraction quality.

I’d agree if MotoGP didn’t run there. Whoops belong in Supercross, not MotoGP.

ha I was thinking that. It’s the challenge, you race Laguna Seca you got the corkscrew, you race COTA, you got bumps

OTOH, I can imagine being a moto gp racer coming out of a corner and laying it on only to go over some whoops lol

Counterargument: They should have left it bumpy. These teams and drivers are supposed to be “the pinnacle”, yet they cant take a few tiny bumps? Its the same for everyone, design your car better next time. Making every track a glass smooth snorefest is part of F1's primary problem.

Maybe they didn't find drugs because he dropped them off and picked up the cash.  Point is he could be a dealer AND the cops were definitely abusive.

They can’t. Police unions have forced* contracts on cities all over the country that make it damn near impossible to fire a cop for anything short of murder that’s held up by a guilty verdict at trial. Even with police departments try to get rid of bad cops like these, they end up having to hire them back and pay them

It’s really not deeper than that. The cops didn’t want to wait for their supervisor to arrive on scene and they treated Owensby like that because they thought he was noncompliant and lying about being disabled.

I 100% think k-9s should be removed from law enforcement but for explosives detection. Dogs are such an obvious infringement of the constitution.

If only we rid ourselves of qualified immunity, your suggestion would be the SOP for shit like this. But these power-mad high school loser cops know that not only will they not suffer any consequences for their atrocious, illegal, racist behavior, but they will be hired by the next town over in the super rare chance

It’s worth pointing out that the cops should know about Terry not because it happened in Cleveland but because it happened in nineteen sixty fucking eight. Terry dealt with stop-and-frisk policies specifically and resulted in the court giving cops wide latitude and only requiring have “reasonable suspicion” (probable

This whole scenario stinks like a pig farm in August. First there’s a great deal of case law covering traffic stops that greatly limits both duration and activities allowed. Since the foundational one is Terry v. Ohio these clowns can’t claim ignorance. The whole dragging the paraplegic out of the car seems like some

Yeah, sign of the times I guess. Those OG Honda fours were fun to rev, but then again, you also had to rev the hell out of them to get the power. The turbos all develop pretty significant power and torque at way lower revs, just takes some of the old school fun out of it.
