Yeah, It’s bananas. I had no clue they still existed. Back in the late 90s when I was in HS I had a buddy whose father became very disillusioned with the US govt and started chugging the sovereign citizen cool aid. It was sad. It ruined his family, friendships, basically his whole life. I think he needed up selling

Submarine... Sure looks like a semi submersible with 3 outboard engines... Outboards do do so well underwater

“Weight has a lot of trade offs, one of which is road feel. A heavy vehicle going 100 mph feels like a light one going 50 mph.”

I own the OG and think the lag on track is very annoying, and often disruptive. Not so horrible in the try with sticky tires, but in the wet and cold there is no way around the fact these powertrains are nowhere near as precise as n/a. All my track/autox friends with M2C say that lag is even worse in their cars than

I dunno man, I’ve autocrossed a 718 and M2 in the last couple months and both have appreciable lag that you have to account for. Maybe it's not so noticeable on the street anymore, but turbos take time to spool. Even good ones

Chevy also provides a track warranty! Which is huge. The guy in the video dropped a valve on track (Zolder iirc) and Chevy provided him a crate engine. Despite the fact it’s a USA sold car, USA warranty, etc. Much paperwork and waiting later, Chevy did him right

First : “I’m not saying we would do that, but it becomes an opportunity”

I agree with you on the modern Tilke tracks, but many circuits are notoriously difficult to pass on outside of DRS zones. Monaco and Baku come immediately to mind, but any street circuit has this issue. Zandvoort too

Good luck 3rd owners.

I think a huge part of the “concept of the GT-R is that straight 6. Like a flat 6 in a 911 or a flat plane crank v8 or v12 in a Ferrari. Let’s not kid ourselves, the peculiarities of specific ICE configurations contribute in large part to the core identity of a car.

“HD really screwed up by killing Buell.”

This. They want the recreational market (bigger $ per unit sales) but the range they deliver is more appropriate for a city commuter. If I spend this kind of money on a bike, I want to not just have a commuter that I can charge every 4 days... I want to also be able get away from city congestion, find some rural and

Oh god, here we go. Spooky Q folks are starting up their fan fiction again

Yeah constitutional “originalists” on the court are very selective on what issues that philosophy applies to

Oops, body camera was off. Gosh, darn. Oh no, there’s a problem with the recording, aw shucks.

Not sure what the point is. Let the GTR die an honorable death. No need to connect it to an electric car that is far removed from the concept and destined to disappoint. We don’t need electric SUVs called the mustang and we don’t need 2 door electric cars called GTR. Just build a new electric thing that is good enough

Seriously. I live in DC on the hill and a garage is as good as gold... So hard to find and you cannot get a permit to build a new one even if your rowhouse has the space for it. Yet constantly I see folks with garages that are just packed full of junk as if they could care less... Meanwhile their car gets beaten to a

Holy moly. What a nightmare. I know enough to know that the nightmare is coming our way... but never had to get down int the weeds of it like that. Dude, that sucks so hard. You’ve further reinforced my belief that modern cars are throwaway items, just like iPhones.

What will people ever do if a car can’t steer itself!? What if it can;t keep yo in your lane while you text on the highway! These cars are dangerous!!

I’m impressed your iPhone 6 is still working for you. I cannot make any phone last that long without a logic board failure or something else that is a nightmare to service. I would get maybe 4 years max out of my iPhones.
