ACAB, but also... no. No one deserves summary execution by the state.

I don’t either. TFG got elected when all he wanted to do was harass Hillary.

To these people, and a whole bunch of other peoples, the most patriotic, American idea they can think of is “I’m special. I’m never wrong. I don’t have to take any shit from anybody.” Think about it, this is basically Trump’s entire personality.

I just don’t get it. These people, so-called “sovereign citizens” and others, LOVE being in America, claim to be great patriots, but don’t believe that our government and laws apply to them at all? How does anybody get so deluded, so indoctrinated (because it’s not their own, spontaneous “research” that leads them to

Regardless of my feelings that sov cits are complete dumbshits, no one deserves to die because of a fake license plate.

The problem is, at least with some consumers, is they view more weight as better product, at least for non sports/super/hyper cars.  But light weight and EV’s is a venn diagram of two circles that don’t touch.  Batteries are very heavy and more batteries means more range which means more weight, but also more weight

This sounds like a recipe for completely artificial racing. Other than qualifying, there would be very little driver skill involved in making the difference during the Sunday race.

I don’t even like the current DRS system. I’m not like outraged over it, I just think it’s a bit gimmicky and artificial. This year there were clearly tracks were DRS was a bit overpowered. I feel like it would be far more beneficial to shrink the cars back down so there is more room to pass than giving weird

terrible idea. What’s next, boosts to cars based on fans’ likes on social media? This is not racing anymore...

I feel that LiveWire (HD) and other US electric motorcycle manufacturers are missing the mark. Motorcycles are already a niche market and electric motorcycles are a niche, niche market. The audience they are targeting is recreational riders and the range and price of an electric motorcycle aren’t competitive yet.

All of my rider friends rode seriously - I was averaging 7k a year just around town - but that’s a valid point for a lot of owners.  I rode year-round as much as possible (even got caught in one snow storm - oops?).  Range is still a concern though - with barely 100 miles, it’s not hard in some states (where riding is

The entire concept of a company losing $370 million is just so alien to me.

Because that money isn’t “real” it’s equity. With all these speculative and pie in the sky things you’re talking about a “valuation” not assets. The investment was on their books and then lost value to the tune of $370MM. They didn’t just burn 370MM in cash... They owned a thing and then people decided that that thing

Unfortunate to see another flop in the electric bike market. There really is a lot of potential, but makers keep missing the mark. I think the s2 del mar looks pretty nice but the range just won’t cut it for me. For reference, I own 2 electric psuedo-dirt bikes (sur-rons), 3 electric pedal bikes of various type, and a

As someone who sells Zeros in Maryland, I can tell you that we definitely do NOT expect you to buy without a test ride. We actively reach out to get people to try these great bikes because they’re damn fun to ride and basically sell themselves. Zero has a traveling test fleet, and all Zero dealerships are supplied

It varies a lot on the type of bike. Goldwing guys will go to a burger joint in the next state for lunch and then 2 states over for Dinner. If it’s a HD or hard tail, it’s only 2 digit miles.

HD really screwed up by killing Buell.

This. Because SPAC.

It looks like the SPAC investors pulled their money out of the SPAC once they got a look at the Livewire books.

IMHO it’s a combo of perception within the brand’s fanbase (YES - folks will put $75k into a H/D and gear but not one that’s missing the single biggest trademark...the sound) and the look... why, oh why would you make it look like am import muscle bike when you could have sold the looks you have to the few that don’t

For me it’s the range...I used to commute only occasionally, but I still do go for weekend rides that often are over 150 miles on all backroads. I would totally consider a LiveWire as I think the configuration looks sporty enough for the backroads I prefer, while still being comfortable for long rides...but it has to
