I think the tasteful and fresh looking paint job is a detriment to value on these. Give me a painfully jazzy late 80's color and ludicrous decals or gtfo

Gah man, I’m crushed. F1 has no idea how to capitalize on its brilliant history does it? Aside from Monaco, you get the feeling that they’d drop any track for a 4 year stint at a new Tilkedrome financed by the next-up dictator/fascist.
It kills the structural rigidity. Which is a shame because targa roofs/t-tops/convertibles are theoretically a wonderful thing your roads are smooth and you drive at 6/10ths
Hot damn. That thing does nothing but get better looking every day. It is now at the excruciatingly beautiful stage.
hell yeah, two piece phone dial style wheels are aging so well
Stop living in the past. It’s 2019, well into the post-fact era.
Sometimes things age to the point that they’re so ugly they’re awesome... These aren’t there yet. Might need another few decades.
You’ve basically made my point for me. Glad you finally agree.
Well since you missed the point and want to nit pick semantics, I said bespoke not stroked out version of an existing engine. Arguing semantics is stupid
It was a stroked out version, not a unique architecture by any means. Not worth double. Great engine, but for the price of a GT3, this package makes no sense. It’s just not better. It has some interesting/unique aspects, but it’s just not enough of a better car for DOUBLE the money over a more standard m3. Double.…
100% agree. It could be the best m3 of all time, but the cost makes that a moot point. It’s still a tricked up volume production family car, not a purpose built platform, so I don’t really understand the M versions that double the cost. At most I think there is room for a 25% increase in price over the m3 for an…
Oh man, I wish they has photos of how it looked prior to restoration. The paint looks new and very shiny, but the engine compartment shows some wear, paint cracking, mild corrosion, etc and this car is all the better for it. The leather seats and dash look absolutely fantastic with some mild imperfection left…
He was also probably doing so after drinking 3 martinis at a business lunch, having just had unprotected sex with his secretary earlier that morning. It was a different time.
Cuts the roof off that truck, but that other guy can’t just take his damn hood off his head for one sec...
This is important work. Can I please take a seat on the board of GCAN? Sometimes the right kind of pedantry can genuinely make the world a better place by restoring a small piece of sanity. I want to be part of that noble fight.
It’s not trying to be a gt3. It just has the aero kit. You’re trying to impose some kind of personal judgement on that option, not just being purely factual as you seem to think you are. That should be obvious to you.
996 factory aero is the gt3 aero kit. It is the same. Do I live in a house or a casa?
lol best reply ever
Lol, fake gt3. Words hurt. Or at least they might if I cared what spec his car was. Factory aero cars have a decent market. Not my cup of tea, but to each their own. x74 is a great option. You one of those chaps that went around calling these a “fake 911" too? You seem like a delight.
Good news for you then, cars.com and autotrader.com are two sites with a never ending parade of run of the mill 996. Your prayers are answered.
