Absolutely. That turned Nier from a “this game looks weird but maybe interesting. I’ll see what reviews are like” to “I’m getting it the day it comes out.”

It feels like she meant rich people face prejudice rather than discrimination.

I don’t like the lack of defiance on her face in the remastered version. Maybe it’ll just come across more subtly.

I love Kaine. I think you’ll enjoy her “aggressively and awkwardly feminized” outfit when you get to know her. Given you love Automata, you’re more concerned with the aesthetic than the objectification aspects, but as you get to know Kaine, you might find that it fits her rather well.
 There were alternate outfits in

Kaine’s one of my favourite characters ever, so I’m a bit worried about this. The change in face-shape is a little concerning, but I’m more concerned about how her new face doesn’t share that same look of anger and derision, that fierceness. I hope they’re not toning her personality down.
 Otherwise, it looks very

My only problem with the acting is that the real-life/outside hex scenes feel a bit stiff?”
I may be putting too much into it, but to me it felt (intentional or not) like it fit better with the MCU’s “real world” acting. I always found those movies a bit stiff in that regard (extensive green screen tends to do that),

I guess I never saw good Paul Bettany movies (the guy makes some bad choices), but I’ve been very impressed with his acting in this series. I was expecting him to be quite planklike again, but he’s doing a great job in moments like these, and I had no idea the man had such a command of comedy.
Olsen is also fantastic

Ah, so more like post-game stuff in a traditional rpg. I don’t think I’ve really played a musou game unless Drakengard 3 or Crimson Sea (wayyy back) count...

46 hours is reasonable, but you say you’ll spend 100. is that a fresh replay, or are there multiple endings to get or something?
Is there that tedious trope of having to go to all the different towns and talk to everyone in case something new pops up after you defeat a boss (or some other game event)? It wasn’t too

Heh. I hated the endings (especially the Big Ramification that they sort of backpedaled on in the revision), but still think it’s totally worth it. at most 2 hours of a bad ending didn’t offset the 100 hours of fun I had leading up to it.
I’ve seen anime and other tv series both their endings worse than ME did...

Most people only have space for (at most) one game that you play for hundreds of hours. There’s some momentum (If I’m going to play with friends, it better be a game my friends also play), but I’m definitely not signing up for several of them.
Similarly, I can only play Animal Crossing once every 10 years or so so I’m

After my friend got me to watch it, I mentioned that we’re now stuck needing 8 more seasons to do the whole manga. I guess they solved that issue... :-/

Any version without the unicorn is a better version :P

We’d have to see how they actually enforce this. Dirty porny stuff may very well not raise any flags. But having been in the basement of the manga shops in Akihabara, sometimes those fan works trend... very young... and I would guess this is where SE is making it clear they’ll clamp down.

I’ll go one further and say that Resident Evil 0 should -only- have a train level...

I played Atelier Iris ages ago (I think that ws the one). It was pretty good, but kind of a “I can play one of these every 10 years at most.” It might be time. They’re just so lengthy tho...

Wasn’t ever a big MM fan and not defending him AT ALL, but come on... being into horror/shock stuff doesn’t mean you’re an abuser. Alice Cooper is reportedly the nicest guy ever.

It’s confirmed. It’s Nier Replicant (so not the Father Nier Gestalt version we got the first time around) so if that matters to you, no need to wait. Otherwise, unless they pull the covid delay card, it’ll be out in April.

Resident Evils (most of them), and the Silent Hill games. That’s pretty much it. Even games I love like Nier (replayed once but will get remake) or Tomb Raider I won’t replay very often (like I replayed Underworld for the first time last year since it came out).
