I miss the Goths in Hot Weather blog.
Yeah, I asked about this in a different part. Seemed pretty weird to me.
Well, people need to get off-shift at some point. If you keep the kitchen open while people keep coming in, you never leave. And usually“the kitchen is closed” means “we’re not accepting new orders.”
(not that any of this justifies what happened. Just speaking as a former night cook who just wants to go home)
Is that allowed? I would figure that locking the main entrance while patrons were inside would be a fire safety violation, but who knows. Last time I worked in a restaurant, people might come in after things were shut down to BS with someone they knew, but would leave when you told them you were closing up but it was…
I kicked the habit maybe 20 years ago (before children), and after the headaches, I’ve been fine. Maybe I’m missing out on some long-term benefits, but I’m pretty sure the heart arrhythmia going away makes up for that.. :-/
I love the LED lights. I bought the wrong one the first time (it’s kind of very white/bluish/”cool” and apparently my wife likes “warm”), but I really like it. It really hits the full spectrum and reading things, especially comics or any other art-based thing, is really vibrant. My wife does prefer the warm ones so we…
Did they break up because of Hello Kitty?
Thanks for all the recommendations. I ordered it last night. Up until even 2 months ago, the thought of getting this game was just not even in my brain, but I’m pretty excited.
Should I get this? I like Norse mythologies (yay, Hellblade), and more adventure-themed games (HZD, etc). I played the first GoW and liked it ok (although it was way too similar to Rygar on PS2, which I had already played), and the macho Deathstalker attitude didn’t really appeal to me, but this one looks very…
Yay, just what we need.. More people. #TeamThanos.
>_>
That’s kind of messed up, but I guess it’s true... the comeback after a drug addiction gets a lot more praise than the person who never gets addicted, etc etc.
Sure, it’s only 100 pounds, but it’s less than half the size of a normal human, and they’re strong (even emaciated). It’d be like fighting Glenn Danzig if he was wearing a helmet.
Although Rainier cherries are almost always good and probably one of the safer things to ‘risk’, your point stands.
I remember enjoying it when I lived near one. But now I have no real desire to seek one out because (1) company politics (2) I live in Seattle, home of Ezell’s Fried Chicken (Heaven Sent as well), and Bok A Bok for a great chicken sandwich.
So my wife eats pumpkin seeds shell and all. She loves them. We always carve up 8 or 9 pumpkins every year so she gets plenty. Does anyone else do this, because I think it’s weird, and I find doing so very unpleasant (both taste and texture), but shelling pumpkin seeds is a real pain as well...
I just give all the shrimpies little shrimp enemas before I cook them. It takes a lot longer than deveining, but you know.. that’s my fetish.
Roll up the rimjob to winjob.
I’ve already said - I don’t have PSN (nor any desire to get it - I don’t play MP games). And regardless of how easy (or not) the workaround is, it’s a stupid requirement regardless. Sony already figured it out on the PS3 years prior.
Yes, of course. Cloud, if you have PSN, and I mentioned backing up the saves. But it’s ridiculous that you have to jump through those hoops and can’t just delete the game data, and keep your save files on the VITA itself.
Do tell! I’d grab a lot more digital games when they’re on sale (even if I never end up really playing them) because the memory transfer with PS3 is a huge pain. What kind of sadistic asshole makes a system that wipes all your save files when you delete the game data?
