Thanks!

Am I missing the final e on the cover because I'm not seeing it. It looks like Ocean's going "Gah, I can't believe I forgot the e"

Also, thank you for unwittingly contracting canceraids.

Not to be that guy but Blonde or Blond?

Note that Sade and the Sex Pistols are both drummed for by a Paul Cook, however.

Were there any British musicians between 1977 and 1990 that weren't at that early Sex Pistols show?

It's weird, I'm the exact opposite. I've never been fond of R&B voice so it's been a fight against that to get into Channel Orange (particularly in contrast to something like Coloring Book). But the musical side is phenomenal and makes me keep coming back. I'll trade you my interest in the musical side for tolerance

You don't really own the album until you break one of the hinges on the cd case.

It's ok, I like that with each step towards your ideal world the number of Megadeths increase.

Oh god, all I hear is Shake It Off…dear god save me!

Yeah, there's a huge distance between the young, playful, sexy vibe on Maxinquay and the tired broody vibe on PMT so I think it gets left out because it's just not as fun. Damn shame though.

Yeah, I fade out midway through Ghetto Youth but skip that and Sex Drive is such a beautiful hot mess of confusion and alienation. Bad Things is fantastic as well.

I actually kinda liked the mopiness darkness of Razorblade Suitcase though I don't think I've put it on in 15 years. I still can't believe Steve Albini produced Sixteen Stone when he had just gotten into a hissy fit with Urge Overkill over selling out.

For a moment there I thought JC was going to break out too, but I feel like his creepiness ended up holding him back.

Yeah, the 90's were way too devoted to authenticity to appreciate a proper pop artist, though I must say that even *NSYNC did some pretty interesting things with their dance performances in retrospect.

Yeah, the newer stuff has a less complex, early 2000s pop sound to it but, Tricky's early works are these fantastically timeless collections of samples. Angels with Dirty Faces is pretty decent as well.

Justin Timberlake.

I discovered this album fairly recently, but Tricky's Pre-Millenium Tension has quickly shot up the list of my favorite albums of all time. Despite the name, the shambling, exhausted, blustery, and fragile feel of the album seems more of today then it is of 1996. It feels pre-apocalyptic like the it's just on the

As a 30 something I feel the exact opposite. At the time 2d was looking more and more beautiful and yet the arcades got more clunky, poor looking knock-offs of Virtua Fighter. They were easy to ignore because they did not feel good at all to control, bur I wish that back then I realized that the jump to 3D
