vaulyrea: Interestingly enough the US Justice Dept. does not keep specific crime stats related to tourist. However, they do note that crimes against tourist in the US, even when there is physical or sexual assault, are seldom reported. (See: Crimes Against Tourist www.cops.usdoj.gov/publications)
