That isn’t at all what happened at the Michael Brown protests.

Trump is a racist clown. I don’t support him. I agree that it’s hypocritical for gun rights people not to support these guys, but on most of the pro-gun forums that I know to check, this protest was exceedingly popular.
There weren’t only 3. Just 3 pictured in this article. At least do the minimum amount of research if you’re going to argue with someone.
No, they made their stand too just like the other group. Their message is clear. They share it in the piece above even if you and the author want to ignore it.
Mostly a hoax? Not true. just because a bunch of idiots shared a picture that wasn’t from those protests doesn’t negate the fact that guillotines were erected. Plenty of news coverage of the real thing. This is obfuscation.
Exactly. My right Airpod Pro has blown a driver or something and always makes a weird noise now. It is uncomfortable to use.
This won’t be a thing, but it sure makes for great election season campaigning.
That wasn’t a gun rights protest (neither was the Open Up rally in Michigan the other day), but you are correct about the incident happening.
Did you happen to notice that the date on that paper is May 2, 1967 while this story occurred on May 6, 2020?
I didn’t mean to slight these gentleman at all. What the did was clearly a protest (or maybe demonstration would be more precise) and the guns were the key component of it.
NRA is pro gun control right now. They supported Trump’s bump stock ban and continue to support red flag laws that have been show to be easily abused.
Darius, I’m gonna need to start a list!
I was and am still angry about Philando Castile. The NRA is political bullshit and few informed pro-gun people support them. The better orgs like Gun Owners of America and the Second Amendment Foundation were upset. Here is the SAF calling for an independent investigation the day after the shooting:
I definitely mean a different group than the NRA. That’s the same group who supported Trump’s bump stock ban and back poorly-written red flag laws. Pro-gun people mostly look to the Second Amendment Foundation and Gun Owners of America for activism these days.
Yes, Democrats are already trying to make it illegal in Michigan. Reagan did the same thing in the 70s when Black Panthers used guns in their protests. Both Parties would like to see an unarmed and subservient population. Don’t allow it.
In the past, I actually was able to interact with the sergeant-at-arms at a State capital when I worked for the Senate leadership so I dispute that claim. It would be handled like every other political protest at a Legislature — very carefully. Don’t underestimate the professionalism or preparedness of the police…
I think you’re mostly right, but theoretically you could make some with explosives also registered as destructive devices with the ATF.
I agree with you here, but like Mr. Lynn from the article, think that the way out of that problem is by normalizing black/minority gun ownership.
