I got married in October of last year, at 29. From 16... yes, 16 until I got engaged at 28, my relatives gave me shit. I rarely brought boyfriends home and didn’t discuss my relationships because I’m a relatively private person and am the black sheep of my very loud, very Italian family where everyone knows everything

Ha, you’re absolutely right. And frankly, for what it is, I enjoyed Avengers 2.

And that’s fair (and that’s my generation too, though my parents were big on music so I inherited an affinity for 60s/70s rock as well)

I don’t have a problem with it at all, I just don’t actively listen. I brought up that album on YouTube after my post just to see if it was godawful and it wasn’t. It’s pleasant, but just not my regular deal.

I am not a Taylor Swift fan, mostly because I don’t listen to the radio or have kids or any current life situation that would have me listening to newish pop music — but I have to say I don’t get the hate that seems to surround the poor kid. From water cooler scuttlebutt, it seems like everyone in my age bracket (30)

Awwwwghhhhh

I would just like to point out that this incident and the related “Braves Fan Ignores Baseball...” story that’s linked are both away games for the Milwaukee Brewers. Coincidence? I think not. Wisconsin is the dairy state, and we bring the long lost art of squeezing teats wherever we go.

I strongly suggest stocking up on the Philly Steak and Cheese variety to really get the audio controls to work.

This doesn’t affect me in any way as I don’t live in Ireland — and I was streaming tears by the end.

Damn those Irish and their adorable accents and progressiveness! Stop making me love you!

Man, she is gorgeous and looks fantastic in that dress. Jealousy!

Agreed. If we get that — my entry is running into Tony Snow outside The Daily Show building, and a girl I was with going “Ayyyyyyy”. He stopped, I said “Did you just Fonz Tony Snow?” and he cracked up.

As much as the passionate part of me agreed with you, the ethical part of me thinks everyone is entitled to proper care. Even if they suck as a human being.

Aww! Lol, thank you! You too! And your username is fantastic too!

I had to look him up — and now it makes much more sense.

I know. Just tacking it on there for the conversation’s sake.

Maybe she’s smart and lined the bathtub in Glad Press-N-Seal.

I can’t imagine what it must be like to be famous and have to worry about appearances to the point that I couldn’t eat. Good for her for addressing her issue before it’s too late. And, I’m sure Hobby Lobby is feeling the dent in glitter sales, but I can’t say I feel bad for them :)

In all seriousness, I don’t know how you can top a personal submarine that looks like a whale.

I am on the board for the Female Coalition In Support of Chest Hair (FCISCH).

While that’s entirely possible, even murderers and psychopaths get care while in prison. So even if he is a lying rapist, that shouldn’t preclude him from treatment.
