I like Severance. I’m sure some people prefer it to Succession. But, the two shows have almost nothing in common besides one word titles that start with S.

You might not find Succession funny, but if you genuinely think they forgot to write jokes, just look up because there are dozens flying over your head.

I read the book in 2016 before we all knew what a greasy, little shit Vance is but even then I remember wondering how he wrote a book while trying to suck his own dick. 

“Hey guys, takeover next Fri at 11pm. Don’t forget to steal a car before then, okay?”

My first podcast obsession was You Made it Weird with Pete Holmes. But then, like an evangelical (of any belief), he got too weird. Plus, he ran out of good guests.

Agreed. I was initially resistant to Succession because I misapprehended that it was just wealth porn for finance bros but I finally gave it a shot and it’s incredible.

If you like “so real it hurts” marital fights, may I recommend Before Sunrise. Every bit as tactically precise as last night, but it last for 29 minutes. It’s brutal.
