So much venom!!!
So much venom!!!
Been aware of your comment style for months. You rarely have any interest in considering what other people say, you just leap to assert your dominance either by name calling or acting like you’re the smartest guy in the room and it makes you seem so small.
You’ve missed the point. YOU are much richer than most people. Do you think you’re part of the problem? Should the pitchforks come for you?
Like most modern country, this song is pandering drivel. Rich-ass Zach Brown ain’t living the life he’s peddling.
My point is that to most of the world, owning four cars, a million dollar home and retiring in your early 50’s seems vulgar or unimaginable, and yet the OP feels completely justified with his accumulation of wealth.
I agree that a car is a necessity. The OP said he has four.
The people who own yachts can justify their purchase just as easily as you justified owning four cars, which, to most of the world, would look like obscene greed and excess.
You are right that they are detached from your version of reality, but your reality is equally unfathomable to billions of people around the world.
There is nothing unethical about rock stars sleeping with younger groupies. It’s a mutually beneficial relationship that both parties have enthusiastically consented to. In fact, almost by definition, the groupie is the pursuer.
You might find the thought of sleeping with an older star unappealing but there are many women who enthusiastically want to do exactly that.
The dynamics associated with most of the accusations are too nuanced for me to want to unpack, but the fourth accuser says Butler sexually assaulted her twice. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but if it is, it is unambiguously bad.
I disagree. I’ve gotten dealers to drop their price by telling them “thanks for the test drive. I’m going to go drive your competitor and will be back tomorrow if I decide yours is the car I want.” And I’ve gotten them to drop the price again by saying “I want your car, but another dealership is offering it at a…
In 46 years, I’ve never heard the term baglicker. *Shrug* You seem to think this is a big win for you though, so mazel tov on that.
Absolutely amoral.
“Bootlicker” is a lazy, reductionist insult, and it’s also becoming increasingly unoriginal.
Fair point. What I couldn’t tell from the article was if women, seniors and people of color paid for cars more because dealers were literally adjusting the price on them, or if it’s because these groups have historically been disempowered and as a result, might be less confident to negotiate hard and that’s what’s…
Oh, a homophobic insult. Nice.
When I first start dating someone, their presence around my house is comforting and exciting. When they move in, their presence around my house is oppressive and annoying.
It’s a seller’s housing market right now, too. Is it unethical to list your home for as much as you think you can get?
This is good Internet Comment Section Content! Just wished you’d called me a “bootlicker” for the bingo.
