“Make your bed, young lady!”

There is a weird narrative in America that “nurses are angels.” We love to deify the profession which is weird for a number of reasons

I mostly agree, but the Golf R’s interior suuuuucks.

I agree 100% with your second paragraph and I commend you for your charitable donations.

It’s hard for me to get on board (no pun intended) with the hatred for the rich. We all want to improve our socioeconomic status and some people just got luckier than others. If it were you or me with billions, we’d probably spend it similarly.

Hill was a talented voice and her departure was a loss for ESPN. It seems like for every Hill and Bomani, there is a Stephen A and Sage Steele, so it’s hard for me to nail down exactly how ESPN feels about letting black on-air personalities be their own person.

Naps are a great idea in terms of giving our bodies what they need, but I don’t see any benefit (not did the article provide any evidence) in terms of energy savings.

As a former avid cyclist, there is almost nothing worse than riding on the trainer.

Does it get exhausting spending your whole day in the Jalopnik comment section correcting people? More likely, it’s a big source of self esteem, right?

This article is a wet dumpster.

How fast do you think human reaction time is??

You may be right about the specifics of Dutch healthcare, though their taxes are extraordinarily high (at least according to my good Dutch friend) but my larger point stands: Until we are ready to pay more in taxes, we’ll continue to get shitty services.

When you contrast our healthcare system with Canada and the Netherlands, you’re really comparing apples to oranges.

Quick point of fact: The $602 million lump sum is before taxes, not after, as the article states.

Jesus, I can feel your pants getting sticky.

I am not sufficiently familiar with Beyoncé’s work to have an opinion, but I wonder the same thing.

I don’t have a problem with some regulation of certain markets, but when it comes to cars (high end vehicles especially) I think dealers should be able to charge whatever they want and buyers can decide if they want to pay it.

I always assumed it’s when the last of the honey has been sold.

Care to explain?

I’m sure they’re rich. What does their financial status have to do with anything?
