Subway is fucking vile. I remember not too long ago when it was actually an attractive fast-food option. It seemed healthier and fresher than McDonalds, was filling and tasted fine compared to what else was out there.

Exactly. I don’t offer much as a partner and therefore don’t ask for much in return, but I insisted that whichever woman I settled down be willing share breakfast so one of us can order savory and the other can order sweet and we can split both.

Part of good film’s beauty is that it’s immersive and transportive. When done well, I’m briefly taken to another world and I hate when somebody shatters that illusion. It can be some dipshit playing on his phone or a whole audience screaming, but for me, it definitely diminishes the experience.

For a young person, you’re awfully cranky.  Great comedians ribbing each other is always entertaining.  It’s like intellectual boxing.

A few points of fact:

In a previous reply I explained why your assertion was reductive and therefore incorrect.  That reply was dismissed.  I’m not going to waste my time doing it again.

Our washing machine has never been smelly (we leave the door open between loads), but our dryer stunk to high hell. Just musty and disgusting, and it was only a year old.

I wasn’t talking about CICO. I was referring to Ish’s comments about stairmasters that “the motion of the stairs on the machine takes away from the pushing” (not true) and that “stairmasters tend to have softer surfaces which makes it easier to push off” (the opposite is true).

Hi. I would not look to Ishamael for exercise advice. Based on what they have written so far, they hold ideas that alternately misunderstand exercise physiology or downright oppose the laws of physics.  Despite this, they are armed with loads of confidence.  It’s like reading the thoughts of a passionate climate…

With all due respect, am I correct to assume you do not have a background in physics, physiology or biological sciences?
