I grew up on Stuart Scott's broadcasts (I'm 34), and while he wasn't always my favorite guy on set (his spoken word rap highlights I definitely could have done without), he had an awesome on-air presence and by all accounts was a good colleague, person, and father. His ESPY speech was incredible and I'll remember him

Thanks man, and keep up the good Foodspin-ing. I guess my only point with the 'commenting frequency' is that it's harder to get yourself out of the grey if you don't even bother showing up there very often. Day off today, so...I'm more active than usual. Quality over quantity has always been the goal around here,

Super Bowl predictions? how about: the game you want to see, and the game we are most likely to see. For me, it is:

One of these days I hope to receive the same notification, congrats. Unfortunately, my commenting frequency has gone done a bit so I've kind of given up hope (new job + everything blocked on the net + open floor plan = no commenting fun).

Also, Anthony Barr is in the convo for Defensive ROY...so there's that, too.

I'm fine with the National Anthem, but this 7th inning God Bless America shit has to be stopped. Take Me Out To The Ballgame or nothing.

That break is going to happen anyway because of the broadcast's obligation to advertisers, but yeah, stadiums don't have to pander to the A.D.D. crowd as much as they do during that 2:30mins.

The popovers served at BLT Prime (and BLT Steak) are fucking incredible. They also come served with soft, spreadable butter because those restaurants are run by non-savages.

Uggggggghhhhhh I hate it when the "office lunch" is ordered with all condiments already applied. They really do love mayo in Europe, though. I couldn't deal.

Well, for what it's worth, your local deli sounds heavenly. Do you remember your first surprise mayo experience? Because...I do. I was like 9 years old and ordered a hamburger at some restaurant in Disney World. It showed up slathered in mayo and I cried. I don't cry any more, but the overall anti-mayo sentiment

Mayo is pretty common on a BLT - I'd actually assume those come mayo'd up unless specified otherwise. But a French dip that comes with au jus on the side? Nope! (Its nearly two years since I made this post and Hillstone still hasn't rectified their menu.)

Go Orange! (I grew up in the surrounding 'burbs)

Yeah, I mean, you never know about these people! He also said things like "Steve Levy is a totally nice, decent guy - but he knows literally NOTHING about any sport that isn't hockey." Things like that blew my mind way more than the who is/isn't a dick convo.

I concede that if you polled 100 ex-ESPN'ers you'd get 100 different "who sucks most" lists. Love Neil Everett, glad to see you put him on the 'Best' list (my friend had him on there too). Surprised about Stan; Flores always struck me as just a normal dude. Stu Scott can go play in traffic.

Buddy of mine worked up in Bristol about ten years ago, and when asked which ESPN personalities were the biggest pricks, his answers were:

Did the same thing on 95 South in CT doing 75 mph in the left lane (no passengers though). Covered my entire center console and passenger seat/floor area in projectile vomit. Couldn't stop, couldn't pull over. Took over a month for the smell to go away.

Just woke my fiancée out of a sound sleep....bravo.
