Good thing they seem to be in the greys, usually.

Seems like that’s just their personality, unfortunately. I dismissed their response to one of my comments because it basically consisted of “fuck anyone who doesn’t cater to my rage issues.”

Oh, my goodness. You’re right. I don’t know how I got the two mixed up, but I should have known when I double checked on pronouns and thought, “Huh. Coulda sworn the person I’m talking about used they/them pronouns instead of she/her. Ah, well.”

I see that Sabina Graves was not assigned the Marvel trailer breakdown this time. That’s probably for the best. She seemed to genuinely not enjoy it, and I was getting tired of people dunking on her.

Both how fun this trailer looked and the fact that Nia Dicosta is directing have me thinking this one might be a return to form for Marvel. Fingers crossed.

Wow. I don’t even watch this show, and I’m still pissed off at this headline.

Well...

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend also suffered from a non-indicative, regressive title.

Under-rated comment, right here.

In that movie, though, the baby itself is not amongst the things threatening the mother’s life or sanity.

The score really is excellent. Brian Tyler truly outdid himself.

The wording seems to be muddled, but I think what they’re trying to say is “back when graphics couldn’t attain the level of detail games can now.” Because you’re right in that during the 90's, the arms race on which system had better graphics was fierce.

Oh, lemme tell ya: it was. Had a killer soundtrack, too, that is sadly underrepresented in either streaming or fan music.

Hope this article being philosophical doesn’t preclude me from getting a little religious, but I find it interesting that this is precisely the argument that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints makes for why God bothered to make all of us pre-existing spirits leave Heaven to come to this awful, physical

No, but you see, the criticism is valid because it’s coming from a purely self-centered frame of reference.

Yeah, really the use of that song wasn’t all that egregious, especially since it cuts out almost as quickly as it starts, just to show how decidedly not epic the moment is really being. I chuckled.

As someone whose day job is editing video for a local news station, I am always tickled by the “film at 11" line. Man, has digital video completely changed how the news gets presented.

The comparison to the Sonic movies is right on point. It’s shallow entertainment that’s so determined to nevertheless entertain, you kind of forgive that it’s shallow.

The funny thing is, as much as hay as has been made about the use of “Battle Without Honor And Humanity” in the movie, at least it feels like it’s just as much about “hey, this song sounds cool even if you don’t get the reference.”
