It’s very gracious of you to take responsibility for the typo, but we all know it was your cat’s fault. ;)

From what I’ve heard, the one movie that would probably benefit from a ScreenX-style setup is 2001: a Space Odyssey, since it was filmed with a giant, curved Cinerama” screen in mind. Kubrick’s intent was that the film would envelop your entire field of vision.

Dang. There’s got to be some kind of meta-commentary at foot when Starlight conforms to the cynical status quo.

Nice. Thanks! You win the XKCD “How to react to someone not knowing about something they ‘should’ know” award today.

I feel kind of embarrassed to admit this, but... today I learned that “casualty” doesn’t automatically mean “deaths.”

Oh my goodness, that is SEVERE. Who is this?

For the briefest of moments, when I saw this video I though “Holy crap, Bether Elderkin is back?” and I was extremely elated.

Ah, yes. Right. In that case, I look forward to all of the Na’avi baseball we’ll be seeing in Avatar 4: For the Love of the Game!

Maybe the reason why James Cameron keeps blustering about the planned fourth film being so mind-scrapingly awesome is because that’s the one that’s emulating Showgirls?

I’ll believe it’s Miyazaki’s final film when finally passes away (which hopefully will not be for a good, long while...)

I dunno, even Court Jesters were expected to mock their masters for the crowd’s amusement every once in a while.

This. 1,000x this. This show is amazing.

Nope, I had the same experience. And that was me playing it on an XBox One.

This comment slaps.

If Jack Black makes the Super Mario Bros. movie even HALF as watchable as Alan Rickman made Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, then I think might-a be okay!

Goddammit.

Actually, I think it’s the opposite. I think he’s trying to hold that image up as a rebuttal to his perceived argument that “there’s no already-existing People Of Color superhero teams worth adapting, so Hollywood has to change our precious white characters into a race that they just aren’t, bro.”

Disney cut it from the theatrical version, deeming it a bit too adult. Henson hated this and got it reinstated for VHS

Much appreciated. It... it has been a heavy load, to be sure.

“Dinner For One” is a comedy sketch that many Europeans view as traditional viewing on New Year’s Eve. For some reason, it’s all but unknown here in the States.
