God, I’ve been such a homer for LastPass over the years.  It makes me sad that they’ve completely fallen on their fucking faces and don’t seem super concerned about getting up and doing better.  The fact that they didn’t even make the list is telling...

Our property abuts conservation/wetlands in the back yard, so it was a really big problem for us when we moved in.

“printer food” = Filament. It looks like it’s $22/lb which is really convenient, since the rest of the world used kg to measure spools. which generally are around $20/kg. This means that objectively the filament from toybox is $48 per kg.

Disagree, objectivity is difficult and expensive and would take a long time.   Also, it has that messy side effect of not being able to predict the result.  The model they use now is faster, and allows someone to make money off of it, clearly better for our society.

I do not recommend you put any of these products inside your body or putting any part of your body inside any of these often terrifying products, but here’s a small taste of the erotic side of Temu:

Almost every single “Top X of Whatever” is fake. It’s marketing companies that collect fees from the companies in the list.

Also, Don’t.Lie.

Some of these ideas seem like in order to be under $10k, you’d need to pick some lower end materials.  If you replace shitty vinyl siding with more shitty vinyl siding, you might not see the same ROI.

For a very short time I would listen to Jay Severin (who is also dead), and it took about 15 seconds for steam to start coming out of my ears.

I read, and enjoyed your comment. I’ve found that in many cases, the kids whose parents/grownups are the most vociferous defenders wound up being the most apt to feel like they could act like a complete asshole without worry of circumstance.

This is the kind of pedantic commentary rocket fuel I come here for... .

I think it’s the combined “S 3 X Y” Tesla models, demonstrating that Elon Musk is nothing but an adolescent boy who is amused by thinly veiled “naughty” references...

...or require satellite radio in every car, and the government requires some sort of free access be provided.

1986 Ford Aerostar XLT with 286,000 miles on it.

This is the most unsurprising thing I’ve heard this week. I worked at a car dealership years and years ago, and the blind hubris with which they operate is fucking astounding.

Liquor in the front, poker in the rear... Big Johnson Casino....

My god Timothy Olyphant looks old in the still from that trailer...

PSA: remember, that these companies are NOT running these liquidation sales. They have sold the opportunity to do this to a 3rd party. This is important because these 3rd parties are really good at making it seem like you’re getting the DEAL OF THE CENTURY, which is often not the case.
