This might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.   The Venn diagram of companies that are small enough that whoever you find will have any clue and companies large enough where whoever you find won’t slack your email to everyone to show them you’re being a psycho is very, very small.

Tooth Payment Adjacent Tip: One of our little hams is an incredibly light sleeper.  We bought a small jewelry box and labeled it the “tooth fairy tooth box” and made a bit of a show of telling her that she needed to put the tooth in the box so that the TF would get it.  It makes doing the swap SOOOOOO much easier.

This.

you need an “old work” electrical box that has “ears” that are designed to grab the back of the wall to hold the box in place.

I feel like part of this is the demand for “quality” has changed.

NIMBY for life!

It’s awful.  My poor son had Kindergarten completely remote, and now they are acting like a pack of assholes to him and the one other remote kid.  Everyone else is full time, all the time.  They started with 5 remote kids in his class, and I’m fairly certain they’ve ground down the 3 that decided to send their kids

I often notice you commenting on the COVID articles. I think we’re in a similar boat.

I recall when searching for my first car, while discussing with the salesperson the different benefits of certain cars, he touted (multiple times) the “record times” that their cars had when going “from 0 to 60 back to 0". Finally, my friend just said “hey man, why the fuck would anyone ever need to do that?”

Don’t.Laugh.

I’m not exactly sure how to articulate this one, but something like “Don’t assume your comfort level with your dog is the same as someone else’s

I much prefer the T-Grip style of allen wrenches if you have room for them, and or a good set of hex bits for your drill/driver.

There, that’s better....

Oh, so it’s totally fine then.

I doubt that was really the plan. I mean basically the entire travel industry evaporated over the course of a month.  I do think they were in survival mode at the time, and the shortage of cars has made it difficult to restock their fleets.  That said, trying to make 8 cars worth of profit on 1 car rental just seems

At what point are rental car companies price gouging? I get the idea of supply and demand, but for fucks sake...

The last line of this is the most important.

That sounds sort of.... illegal.

don’t.fucking.lie.

You think rich white people are good neighbors?  Oh man.  Some of the WORST neighbors I’ve ever had have been while living in the “nicest” neighborhoods...
