Let’s be clear. Different people approach the car buying process in different ways. Some are aggressive, many would rather avoid it at all costs (Thanks, Tom!). The key thing to remember is that the FULL responsibility of that belongs to the “system” that car dealers have fostered, protected, and promoted. The

There are plenty of brands out there that mainly sell at MSRP, and very tightly control their retailers.  They are the ones who have clout and basically know that the brand value is the only reason they can keep the prices up.  Apple is great at this, so is under armor. (Or at least they were )

Amazon is one of the worst perpetrators and enablers of MAP violations in existence. They don’t honor MAP and they essentially shield their sellers from being identified by the brands whose MAP policies they are violating.

What if the customer is being a dick, because you’re being an asshole?

Magnatiles usually cost around $1 each. Masking tape is $4 a roll, and will not fall off if you hit a bump. I’m going to stick with tape (pun, fully intended)

“Modded”=CP.

I think the answer to all three questions is: A dealer will say whatever they need to in order to make you pay the most possible money for whatever they are selling you.

Week 1: Did a grocery shop for “a week” for $200.

The guys name is Charlie Cheesebro

I find this stuff to be incredibly frustrating. Let me start by saying that I absolutely know that COVID is NOT the flu, but I will draw a comparison.

We’ve been struggling a little bit with meal planning.  We try to limit our grocery shopping trips to once a week (or less if possible).  The issue is that when we plan our meals, if there are any ingredients that are unavailable from the store when we shop, it creates a problem.  I’ve been asking Mrs. Ham to create

I always roll my eyes when these amazing new standards come out. 40Gbps support you say? obviously this is measured in a vacuum. In actual use, you’ll never see that performance, and the deficit will be blamed on other hardware or other components in the process.

Supposibly?

love these conversations, but the fact of the matter is, they aren’t going to have an epiphany and change all the stuff that drives people nuts. If anything things will get worse.

So, in the case of Credit Acceptance, you’re telling me that a company who basically prey’s on people who are at the highest risk for not being able to pay, and likely is making them pay significantly higher interest rates, on cars that are probably not as valuable are complaining that they aren’t getting paid?

You probably read this in a place that uses science or some such shit to base their positions. Which means that (optimistically) 49% of the people in this country have no particular interest in your “peaks” and “valleys”...They want FREEDOM!

I almost snorted when I read the headline.

It’s eerily like the stages of grief.

How about a list of apps/games for iOS and Android that do NOT have ads or in-app purchases.
