In the 90s everyone flocked to movies with trailers where the villain said “kill them all”. We’ve now entered the era where everyone will flock to movies if the phrase “turd in the wind” appears in the trailer.

There have always been guys who couldn’t get laid though. Why have they now become a misguided “movement”?
What about his “Pulp Fiction in Space” Star Trek movie?
That feels like hedging their bets in case it’s not a big hit. They originally said the same thing about Star Trek : Discovery
I will accept this in reference to the Star Wars prequels, but nowhere else.
I thought Winona’s character was much better in season three, but I’d happily watch a show focused on Steve, Robin and Dustin solving local mysteries. Lose Erica though (or replace her with Lucas, who had some great one liners this season).
Not all Last Men.
I’d prefer to see the Scoop Troop travelling around the country in a van, solving mysteries. Possibly with a dog.
But will the Netflix series feature her brother, Ruprecht the Monkey Boy?
I haven’t read a comic since the 90s, when the crossover madness got out of control.
Oh man, you must have huge issues with the convuluted histories in Marvel comics then.
This is a snarky article considering the second season pretty much abandoned the juvenile humour and became Star Trek fan fic (which it does very well).
I wonder if leaving Fox also allowed him to be in The Loudest Voice, because I can’t imagine Fox likes that show.
If you’d told me, as a comic book reading teen in the 90s, that in 25 years not only would most of my favourite characters have their own major movies and TV shows, but even more obscure titles like What If and Spider-Ham would be on screen, there’s no way I would have believed you.
Rewatching the Dark Crystal last year I was reminded how messed up the “essence draining” scene was. The Podling’s heaving chest! No wonder I had nightmares as a kid!
In Australia we still get a lot of movies on free to air, so often late on a Friday I’ll check out what’s playing. Then after the second ad break I’ll check if it’s on a streaming service, switch over and fast forward to where the TV was up to. And that’s the story of how I saw Apocalypto again this evening.
I saw it in theatres too. My grandmother refused to see Gremlins so she took me to see this instead. I was deeply disappointed until I actually saw the film - it was awesome. (I later saw Gremlins at the drive-in)
It didn’t quite work for me, though I enjoyed season 3. It felt just a little bit too much, as far as the nostalgia trip was concerned.
Crab people, Crab people. Taste like crab, talk like people.
I dunno, there seem to be a lot of RATM fans who just like the sound and have zero interest in their actual message.
