That’s the opposite of a hot take, it’s an indisputable fact. Any eligible voter who didn’t place a vote for Hillary (the only other person who had a chance of winning this recent election) has completely forfeited their right to complain about anything Trump does over the next four years.

I am not even sure this is a hot take. It is a measure one as he would presumably have been voting in Florida which mattered quite a bit in the election.

I think he hoped, and expected, to lose, return to his empire, start his channel, do some paid speeches, write a book, etc. Looks like he has some real work ahead of him, and now he’s like a deer caught in the headlights.

Yeah this is not as clear cut to me as the Bush or Cheney scenario I mentioned, but I will admit that Pence seems less emotionally unstable.

He never thought he’d be president. He never even wanted to be president. He wanted to lose and start his new TV company. Mike Pence is gonna be the man running this thing just like Cheney did, and we will all be worse off for it. At least Cheney really only cared about money, Pence is a freaking ideological lunatic.
