Agreed. Both teams came out and played amazing defense. My critique is less on the content of the game than it is on the outcome.

I’m surprised they didn’t try to pass to him outside more. If watching the Pats has taught me anything, it’s that if you can’t run, just throw screens and swing passes. He might not have done much with his 10 carriers, but 11 touches is criminally low. He only had two targets!

He makes most of them look very bad. I think some of them are just lazy; you can tell they didn’t do much research and they just talk about what’s happening after the fact. I think some guys actually do a good job of preparing, but they’re not dynamic. Romo just happens to have both sides of the coin, not unlike
