I guess if these people want overpriced athletic apparel, they’ll have to stick to Under Armor. WE MUST RESPECT THIS FLAG.

“I’m into footd shit”

Every single snack they have there is $1.99 and 100% delicious.

I mean, he probably does it for the bennies and the employee discount. I can’t believe this is a news story.

He’s miggity miggity miggity Mack!

The Secret World of Tradin’ Mack.

“Great stuff, huh? Maybe you had to be there?”

“But I do believe any free person has a right to...make a living.”

Hear, hear. This comment is exactly how I feel; it can be complicated depending on who we’re talking about here (I’m never going to feel the same about Louis CK, but Ansari’s transgression could have a path to redemption as far as my opinion of him goes), but the first step in this process is apologizing for what you

If the XFL (should it even return) was concerned with offering up a cool alternative to the NFL, it would treat the games like video game modes. No Punts, Passing Only, No FGs, or whatever. Instead, it wants to be the MAGA League and they’re mostly concerned with making people stand for the anthem and being the

Barnstorming football could be cool. Teams could even mutually agree to specific formats, like 6 on 6 flag football to get timing/routes down or something weird like that. Anything other than just bad, boring second squad games.

Yo, what?

I want to like Splinter, as I was a big fan of Gawker-proper, but there’s just so many of these kinds of posts. Katherine had a post last night basically telling Twitter to chill out about the Manafort/Cohen news, because while it’s important, the news media was over-hyping it. IT’S A HUGE FUCKIN’ DEAL, MAN.

I dunno, it’s not zero-sum. He can be a shitbag, and also be involved in something that is helpful right now. He doesn’t need to be dapped up to the moon for it, but he doesn’t need to be outright dismissed.

What a hypocrite. He’s been stretching that shirt out for YEARS.

I haven’t picked up on that tick (my team is usually on CBS, so the Fox game is what I watch while folding laundry), but thank you in advance for making those games harder to listen to.

Honestly, when he’s trying to be an “analyst”, he’s kind of ho-hum. But when he’s just being Randy, he’s so much fun to listen to. At the end of the day, the color commentator needs to be engaging, and he’s that.

I don’t agree, but I understand the opinion. Personally, I’ve spent so much time listening to “THIS GUY”s and bland-ass Phil Simms for so long that I genuinely enjoy Romo, if only because he talks like an Earthling.

ESPN has Randy Moss right there. Just put him in the booth. He engaging to listen to and he knows what he’s talking about. It’s a Romo world now: love him or hate him, he’s not boring.

THE HUMIDITY!
