So you had a tool for a professor. That doesn’t negate the importance of knowing how to read cursive or the importance of knowing how to write legibly. Some people prefer cursive over print. My handwriting is a mixture of both. It’s a personal preference, and everyone should know how to read, if not write, both.

I think the author was referring to the rash of terrible King Arthur films in the past decade or so. Think First Knight, King Arthur (2004), The Last Legion, Tristan and Isolde.
