Sidewall enthusiasts, unite!

Yeah. I have spent a lot of time in 2 metro areas: Chicago and Silicon Valley.

Sounds about right. I imagine I have the same tolerance to sun as your dad. My wife’s R56 Mini has the panoramic sunroof. It has a built-in “shade,” but the so-called shade is mesh and lets most of the light through. It also has a black interior. On a warm day, that thing is like an oven.

The worst part is that there appears to be no blackout shade on it. I think I would feel like an ant under a magnifying glass on a hot day.

I had a VW TDI for a while. This sounds familiar. The most annoying thing is when the only diesel station for miles is out of diesel. It is sort of like when the electric car charger is down.

“Honey, I’m stranded at the track. Can you come and get me?”

It seems like 1 out of 10 times I start up the car, there is some hiccup with Bluetooth that requires me to poke around in some menus to get connected. 1 in 10 times might not sound like a lot, but this happened approximstely 0 out of 2000 times that I connected a phone to an aux cable in my

Most new cars in 2012 had aux jacks. Most phones did too. Then things got all messed up.

I have an MK7 Golf with this dashboard layout. I actually don’t use the screen much at all, because it is so low. I like to have the map application closer to eye level. So, I have a phone mount on a vent, and I use my phone screen for maps. I use Bluetooth for audio, because (a) if I use carplay, the map goes on the

More than I can afford, pal. MR2.

That sounds similar to owning a koi pond.

The corn subsidies and US ethanol production remind me of this clip from Arrested Development:

I saw the following outside my 3rd-floor hotel window in Paris once:
