The VTA streetcars in San Jose are pretty silly. Rather than making connections between hubs of activity, their tracks mostly meander aimlessly through sparsely populated side streets. Not very useful.

We’ve been able to run a setup similar to Deep Driving on a single NVIDIA TK1 ($192 MSRP) for a single high-quality camera. Naturally, Deep Driving is a somewhat cartoonified version of a fully-fledged self-driving system, but it’s a good start.

I actually like both of those types of people. I like track stuff, so I don’t mind hearing about. When I had a Miata, I liked it when people asked me if I track it.
