@ilovemaps: Ah what was it about the mid 90s? I commented upthread in reply to some one that I had the exact same problem in college.

@terrymct: I too have disproportionately long legs, and in college remember that my friends would tease me for wearing Daisy Dukes, until I pointed out to them I was wearing the exact same pair of kakhi shorts they owned from American Eagle, they just looked shorter on me because of my legs, and those were the longest…
@TurdBlossom: What happened to that woman who went to an unaccredited law school in LA who Gawker said was going to represent LiLo?
@odonata: But the converse isn't necessarily true— all infanticide is not the direct result of having no reproductive choices.
@bmacrex: I'm not sure you've posted this video enough times in every thread of this entire post. Could you put it up a little more?
@spacedcowgirl: From what I've heard, initially he had a lower-level IT job and she stayed at home with the kids to take care of them (obviously day care wouldn't have been feasible). They both would do a lot of speaking engagements on the weekend (together) to bring in extra money. Then I think he started working…
@Imjustnotthatintoyou: Yes, and I should have been clear too that I think they are both tools, and both of them spend irresponsibly from what we've seen. I don't just bag on Kate for this!
@JuneCarter: Hopefully you say the same for Kate Gosselin's extensions, fake tan, manicures, designer clothes, and highlights...
Ugh, if that quote is true, why in the world would Kate Gosselin tell the paparazzi of all people that she is lonely?? That really does make me think she likes the attention from them.
@bubbly*pop: I read that such trials aren't by jury in Peru, but instead in front of judges.
@tse-tse-fly: Oh, were you me Sunday night? I'm surprised I didn't run into you while ranting on Constitution myself...
@MareCrisium: Ah, the little tent setup would definitely help, versus just having a bed in the corner. And laundry on top is a great idea, so you had a "closet" at least.
@MareCrisium: Yikes, was there no option of bedding down in the living/TV area or room or even a corner of the kitchen? Not much privacy, obviously, but possibly more than being in the same room as the 'rents...
@conspicuouschick: think you have some good points here, though I do think we need to separate your average baby boomer in the workplace with those in positions of power (whether in the private sector or government).
@ekaterinaballerina: Very interesting, and your mom sounds great. Out of curiosity, how was she able to pick up on the atmosphere Landon created amongst the boys?
@Bismark: They are staying in the workplace "far past their prime" largely because the economy tanked, they are the first generation to have 401k's instead of pensions, and those 401ks that they have to live on for the rest of their life have tanked in value.
I have no idea how much these cost, but if I was a teacher in a school where these were becoming a major distraction, and they weren't too pricey, I'd be mighty tempted to buy a whole bunch of them and just give them away to the whole class.
@BlueMorpho: For us it was Bart Simpson t-shirts. And we always had the shorts thing, unfortunately.
@Ninja Robot Pirate: "Le canape merde" has me silently laughing and shaking in my office right now!
@WhoreHound: No, but I have by the police on the beach of Lake Michigan in Chicago! And they weren't nearly as nice as I imagine the sea turtle people probably were.
