Here in DC, we're hearing we'll be lucky if the Senate bill clears before Christmas. If it doesn't, Reid is threatening to make them come back the Monday after Christmas weekend instead of recessing.

@mbprice: Exactly— just like if you ride a teen boy for not cutting his hair, you pretty much guarantee he will grow it as long and as messy and he can.

@deeemer: The same way it was decided for Medicare, and the same way private insurers (and the employers who contract with them) decide it.

@Valkyrie607: While I and a lot of people on this site might not agree with the position he(?) posted, his comment is in no way trollish.

@Everything MidnightBikeRide does is a balloon.: They understand it, but unfortunately many of those individual D's are worried about being re-elected next year, and if they are in a more right-leaning district, than putting their foot down might mean no job for them.

@deeemer: No, that's really misleading to say there will be a panel of "judges" to decide what health issues are not covered. Not how it's going to work...

@Rare Affinity: I'm a decent cook and can bake a mean pie, cake, cookies, pizza, etc.

@Lymed: Very good point. Complex carbs do me very good. Simple carbs just make me shaky and crabby (from low blood sugar) within an hour or so. #carbs

@bluetrain84: Ha! See to me, as a member of team hourglass, it seems the complete opposite!

@alwaysapropos: I have a nephew who has been obsessed by vacuum cleaners since he was 18 months old. He's had a couple of toy ones, but he's now 5 and has a small, real one so he can at least be productive while playing. He LOVES it. #lilyskids

@HannahBethD: Hey, not sure if you realize this, but I think Zombie was just applying the ratio to her own height...

@erox: Can you tell us more about the public reaction to the University's expelling her? Is there *any* outrage? Or is there a mixture of reactions, or is it uniformly supportive? #shortskirtexpulsion

@BytheSea: I sometimes did, I did...((shameface))
