@ElleL: Oh god, I just had a flashback. Shortalls (that were blue and white pins-striped), with a little white baby tee out of henley material, with mickey mouse boxers that showed at the sides.

@Sarah Dove: From what I've been told, it's beyond the equivalent of having your fingernails surgically removed— it's more like having your fingers amputated just past the first knuckle. #anthonysowell

@mrsdracomalfoy: Huh, interesting. Though in past years, it was common enough to hear people say they had the flu when it seemed much more likely they had a bad cold (heavy nasal congestion, etc). It's an understandable mistake, to be sure, but generally the flu really is different.

@jigglyball: Yeah, I had a feeling there was some serious alcohol involved in that story...as always, I'm sure it seemed like a really good idea to him at the time! #fraternitynewspapertheft

My biggest pet peeve is hearing all these people (not specifically here) talk about how they or a relative had swine flu, and how they felt and how long it took to get better. And then I ask them— "Oh, did you get tested?"

@Eleanor Ramilly: no, you're not. So far the swine flu hasn't proven itself to be any more dangerous than regular seasonal flu.

@jigglyball: I'm cracking up that the QB was apparently so invested in his stolen payphone, a cop actually had to wrestle him to the ground to get it away from him. Versus just maybe turning it over to the cop when asked? #fraternitynewspapertheft

@Island of Misfit Toys: To be honest, I heard very little (if any) bad publicity about the petition and specifically her signing in the mainstream media.

Wow, go Caitlin!! She could be a very effective advocate in the future for a number of causes.

@That-Dude: Oh a fellow New Jerseyan. I lived on the furthest edge of town, so no friends lived nearby that I could ride to school with.

@KatieBLV: If I remember correctly, the Jonas Brothers surprised them at their first night moving into the White House. #sashaobama

@katynels: It depends on what state each of them were in at the time. Some states have 2-part consent rules for recording phone calls, some have only 1-party consent, and some have no consent required.

@aimeeg: Exactly, I've now heard enough stories from my mother and experienced the other side of it here, that I'm convinced only an impossible-to-attain middle ground would be ideal. #secretaries

@aimeeg: Unlike in the UK, many states are "at will" states, where an employer is free to fire you for any reason they choose, other than discrimination based on age, gender, race, or disability (someone correct me if this isn't quite accurate).

@Penny: Same here, though it was only a short relationship for me. He's now married, and still propositions me whenever we run into each other (through work). It's always done in a joking way, but I'm quite sure he's serious and would take me up on it if a god forbid agreed.
