You’ll have to forgive us Americans. We’ve only ever seen the high trim optioned models here in the USA since MB here is marketed exclusively as a luxury marquee. Thus we never got the stripper models or even literature about them and most folks in the USA don’t know such an option exists.

I do not disagree with our assessment. But for a casual reader from the USA who is unaware that MB produced/marketed anything else other than a luxury vehicle in the USA it was a simple way of conveying of how MB produces a full array of vehicles in Europe.
