Good luck with that motor! I would not touch a 6.oh no what’s wrong with it now! with a 10 foot pole. Going to need 5-10K in spare cash to “bullet-proof” it.

Its like they designed 3/4 of a car and then decided it was time for more wine and just said “ship it.

No, people did buy them and then the dry DCT crapped the bed and Ford played dumb.

Neither of those models is sold in the USA anymore. Ford nuked the Focus name with dry DCT powershift transmission debacle.

If only Ford could put this kind of dedication to making a quality small car.

Oh I know the will last a longtime! I have owned a W116, W124 and now a W212. As I said I agree that they are of a higher caliber.

He’s talking about a CV axle. Common wear item.

You’ll have to forgive us Americans. We’ve only ever seen the high trim optioned models here in the USA since MB here is marketed exclusively as a luxury marquee. Thus we never got the stripper models or even literature about them and most folks in the USA don’t know such an option exists.

I do not disagree with our assessment. But for a casual reader from the USA who is unaware that MB produced/marketed anything else other than a luxury vehicle in the USA it was a simple way of conveying of how MB produces a full array of vehicles in Europe. Gotta love all those “premium” E-class taxis running around

Finally! We can get rid of all those pesky, injury prone humans on Broadway! Robots for the win!
