The first two episodes establish the main characters and the story, but I don’t doubt he’ll play a major role in the rest of the season based on the direction it’s heading... or so I hope haha.

Kind of amazing the CW got 4 seasons out of a Nancy Drew reboot that was better than it had any right to be, better than both the similar Riverdale and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Watched thie first episode of that yesterday. It was...meh? Like, not bad, but not super interesting either. I might give it another episode. 

But he does say “neither character you mention”, so clearly he’s considering PWB character as a different character and not going with the chud assumption that PWB’s character will replace Indy thanks to time-travel shenanigans.

Hot take: I’d be okay with a remake of Escape from New York. The original is a good movie, but I don’t think it is sacred or anything. If someone had a good angle to rejigger the story, I’d be willing to give it a chance.
