Dwayne Johnson’s image as “Box Office Viagra” has taken a couple of hits. Maybe he is hoping to rehab his image with a beloved character in a bankable property. Hopefully it does better than Jungle Cruise.

Honor Among Thieves looks to be for fantasy (in general) and Dungeons & Dragons, what Farscape was for sci-fi and space opera… maybe with a little bit of Leverage thrown in for spice.  Can’t wait.

A familiar face you say…

Now playing

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special may be my new favorite, but the Riptide Christmas episode “Home For Christmas” holds a special place in my heart.

Dwayne Johnson just had his Ozymandias moment…

It wasn’t a pinky promise.

Keitel had a cameo in the second one, about as brief as Reginald VelJohnson’s, Al showing up in Die Hard 2.

Maybe it’s an in-universe film adaptation of Casandra’s autobiography, In 2 Deep: My Journey 2 Freedom.

They made such a big deal about announcing his involvement… if his appearance is nothing more than a glorified cameo…

Maybe not time travel per se, but perhaps converging timelines as in Dunkirk. Either way, the film has some heavy lifting to do, if it hopes to measure up to Fat Man & Little Boy.  Dwight Schultz was an excellent Oppenheimer.

Does Riley Poole show up in the first episode? (Almost) Everything is better with (Justin) Bartha.

James Mangold confirmed neither Indiana Jones nor Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Helena will appear in the proposed Dial of Destiny spinoff series at Disney+.

After the Batgirl movie backlash, vague euphemisms, about the state of a project, appear to be the most politic way to respond.

In conversation with THR, Jerry Bruckheimer stated the script for Margot Robbie’s Pirates of the Caribbean movie “needs a little more work,” but a second script for an alternate Pirates movie focusing on a younger cast “is close” to a final draft.

Oh. That’s good.

Maybe she shacked up with Bill for a while? Could Hope have some tiny brothers and sisters?

So what they did with the Cardassians in TNG?

So the Gorn have supplanted Klingons as the face of senseless aggression…
