Reminds me of an old STARLOG cartoon where Wesley is looking in the mirror at his thinning hairline and Picard is standing behind him, saying, “Er, Wesley, there’s something Beverly and I have been meaning to tell you...”

Tatooine is one big beach, my friend.

The “attractive clickbait false story that it was me that killed it or walked away” thing reminds me of Jay Leno, in the aftermath of getting Conan fired, saying “don’t blame Conan.” As David Letterman said in a pointed monologue, nobody was blaming Conan, and I don’t think that “WW3 died because Jenkins walked” is

Maybe not a solo flick, but yes, I could absolutely, 100% see him using Bizarro in a movie.

the Pitch: “We should make a Bizzaro film FIRST! No one would see that coming and the whole time, they will be asking “Hey, who is this Bizzarro guy making fun of?” And we will know that it’s Superman! And he appears in Film 3, after Bizzaro Returns!”

While Gunn is clearly a parodyist through and through, often the key to good parody is a deep understanding and appreciation for the object of parody. I have no doubt that Gunn knows exactly what to do to make a straight Superman. He might not make it himself because that is not where his heart lies, but I’m sure he

Do you even know Lex’s second in command’s name?”

You couldn’t do that with Lex Luthor’s lieutenant. Do you even know Lex’s second in command’s name?

When Zaslav bought the company, putting Sueprman as one of the pillars of the DCU was one of his big points.

Mercy Graves vs Harley Quinn? - I’d watch it. Heck, they both started on their respective, quality animated series as well

It’s a bit of a change that Superman is going to be the focus of the Gunn era. In terms of visual media, Batman has been the focal point of DC’s output since the Christopher Reeves movies ended. Bats has had, what, four times as many movies? Twice as many TV shows? Harley Quinn has her own (amazing) show. You couldn’t

So it’s just the DCU now? No more DC Extended Universe? (I assume that’s because the CW shows are winding down.)

I always really liked the one from “Future Imperfect” (Bottom Middle one). Put the “rank pips” as bars right on the badge. Nice and neat. Though, it only really looks good at the commander or higher rank. Just a single bar behind for an ensign, would look a little weird I think.

Worf’s prosthetics makeup looks excellent. Very happy it doesn’t have that shiny plastic looks that plagues the Discovery Andorians and Klingons.

Captain America was over ten years ago and it came off the success of Iron Man. The movie going public had faith in the MCU.

I feel like we as a society don’t talk enough about how much fun The First Avenger is. It’s definitely one of my favorites and while I wasn’t aware that it regularly ranks high on various lists I’m glad to hear it.

The Rock will do anything to help make the movie a success...except move out of his safe mid-tier movie formula.

Black Adam isn’t bad, but it is incredibly flawed, and it does not come close to beating First Avenger as my favorite superhero movie ever.” I disagree. I could name quite a few superhero flicks more “flawed” than Black Adam. I gave it a “B” not because some flaws but simply because it felt stale. It didn’t bring
